Kansas City Chiefs: Chan Gailey has been relieved of his duties as offensive coordinator.  At this time, it is not clear whether Gailey will have another role within the staff.  It is likely that head coach Todd Haley will take over the play-calling.

Alabama: Head coach Nick Saban has signed a 3-year contract extension through 2017.

LSU: LSU has added "vice chancellor" to Joe Alleva's title.  Alleva joined Louisiana State University as athletic director a year ago.

Lincoln High School (Lincoln, AL): Head coach Keith Howard suffered a heart attack and passed away Friday night.  Please keep his family, players, and community in your thoughts.


West Hills Community College: Located in Coalinga, California in the Central Valley region of the state.  The football program has an immediate opening for a part-time wide receiver coach/asst. resident hall advisor.  The job pays a $5,000 stipend with housing and meals. Friday morning: Coaches Quick Hits

Bowdoin College: Mickey Rehring (defensive line), Sean Welch (defensive backs), and Ben Larkins (running backs) have joined the staff. Additionally, several changes have been made to duties on the current Bowdoin coaching staff. Steve Shukie has taken on the responsibility of recruiting coordinator and will serve as wide receivers coach. Trevor Powers will coach the defensive backs and serve as video coordinator while Tom Radulski has been named Director of Football Operations and linebackers coach.
