Arkansas-Monticello: Our sources tell us that offensive coordinator / quarterbacks coach Matt Middleton and wide receivers coach Dan Fodrocy have both resigned.

Arizona State: We hear Arizona State safeties coach / recruiting coordinator Matt Lubick has added the title of assistant head coach.  Jamie Christian moves from running backs to  special teams coordinator / tight ends.  Offensive graduate assistant Bryce Erickson has been promoted to running backs coach.

Arizona Cardinals: We hear linebackers coach Bill Davis will be promoted to defensive coordinator.

Auburn: Running backs coach Curtis Luper will serve as recruiting coordinator. 

Ball State: We hear Daryl Dixon has joined the staff as secondary coach.

Carolina Panthers: Brian Baker has joined the Carolina Panthers' staff as defensive line coach. 

Cleveland Browns: Rutgers University running backs coach Gary Brown has joined the Browns' staff as running backs coach.

Kansas City Chiefs: We hear former New Orleans Saints defensive coordinator Gary Gibbs could soon join the Chiefs staff.

Maryville College (TN): Former Northeastern assistant Luke Ewalt has been hired as secondary coach.  Offensive line coach Jim Elliot has been promoted to offensive coordinator.  Shaun Hayes will move from secondary coach to quarterbacks.  Hayes will also now serve as recruiting coordinator. 

Montana: Head coach Bobby Hauck has signed a new 1-year contract.

Notre Dame: Head coach Charlie Weis has announced that he will assume the role of offensive coordinator.  Defensive coordinator Corwin Brown will now carry the titles of co-defensive coordinator / associate head coach.  Jon Tenuta will hold the title of co-defensive coordinator and will call the plays. We hear former Washington Huskies' defensive line coach Randy Hart will join the Irish staff as defensive line coach. 

Presbyterian College: Former Furman special teams coordinator / corners coach Tom Evangelista has been hired as defensive coordinator.  Jeff Wilson has joined the staff as a defensive assistant. 

San Jose State: Former San Joes Sabercats offensive coordinator Terry Malley has been hired to coach the quarterbacks.

Stanford: Running backs coach Willie Taggert will remain at Stanford after interviewing with the Cleveland Browns.

MIT: HEAD FOOTBALL COACH/INSTRUCTOR OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION, MIT Department of Athletics. Will be responsibile for management of all facets of the Football program including but not limited to administration, budget management, fundraising, recruiting, scheduling of competitions, team travel, weekly practice sessions, counseling of students, and compliance with NCAA and conference rules and regulations. Teaching responsibilities include instruction in the required physical education activities program and possibly minimal responsibilities in the strength and conditioning program.  Additional responsibilities may include department wide duties as assigned.  This is a 10 month full-time appointment. QUALIFICATIONS: A minimum of three years of coaching experience preferably at the college/university level. A Bachelor's degree in Physical Education or related field is required. A Master's degree is preferred. Proven experience in recruiting to a highly selective institution desirable. Previous experience in teaching physical education activities is also preferred. Administrative, interpersonal/communication skills and computer skills are essential. Appropriate certifications in First Aid, CPR, AED, and Biohazards are required within 30 days of hire. Ball State: We hear the Kansas City Chiefs have offered Ball State assistant Pat Perles as position on the staff.

Cleveland Browns: Former Minnesota Gophers wide receiver coach George McDonald had accepted the offensive quality control positon.

Denver Broncos: Assistant general manager Brian Xanders has been promoted to general manager.

Iowa: Head coach Kirk Ferentz has agreed to a new 7-year contract.

Iowa State: We hear Ben Barkema will serve as offensive GA and Nick Caley will serve as defensive GA.

Kansas: Offensive coordinator Ed Warriner has added the title of associate head coach.  Brandon Blaney has added the title of assistant offensive line coach.

LSU: Former Boston College tight ends / special teams coordinator Don Yanosky is joining the LSU staff as tight ends / recruiting coordinator. "Yano" is close friends with LSU assistant Larry Porter.

Wyoming: Former Wyoming video coordinator Jared Petrino will serve as defensive GA.  As we reported over a month ago, former Missouri student assistant Brent Vernon has been announced as the offensive GA.

New England Patriots: We hear the Patriots have promoted Shane Waldron from offensive assistant to tight ends coach.  Joe Robinson has been promoted to director of college scouting.  Area scout Monti Ossenfort has been promoted to national scout.

North Dakota State: We hear former Wyoming defensive coordinator Mike Breske has landed the NDSU defensive coordinator job.

South Alabama: Our sources tell us that University of Alabama intern Tommy Perry will join the South Alabama staff as special teams coordinator / running backs coach.

Tennessee Titans: Marcus Robertson has been promoted from assisant secondary to secondary coach.  UCLA safeties coach Tim Hauck has joined the staff as assistant secondary coach.

Appalachian State: Our sources tell us that University of Alabama offensive graduate assistant, Lance Taylor, has just accepted the wide receivers job at Appalachian State.

Arizona: We hear Texas Tech running backs coach Seth Littrell will accept a position on the Arizona offensive staff.  Former Texas Tech offensive coordinator Sonny Dykes now serves as the Arizona offensive coordinator.

Central Michigan: Former Michigan (2005-2007) defensive line coach Steve Stripling has accepted the defensive ends job under Butch Jones at Central Michigan. 

Detroit Lions: Stan Kwan (STC), Shawn Jefferson (WR), Sam Gash (RB), Don Clemons (QC / defensive assistant), Brad Banta (assistant special teams) have been retained.  Newest hires include Tim Walton (defensive backs), Daron Roberts (assistant defensive backs), Kris Kocurek (assistant defensive line), George Yarno (offensive line), Jeff Horton (quarterbacks), Tim Lappano (tight ends), and Todd Downing (offensive quality control).

Stillman College: We hear former Miami (FL) quarterback Derrick Crudup Jr. will accept the offensive coordinator / quarterbacks job at Stillman College.  Crudup has served as Forest Park HS in Atlanta. 

Tampa Bay Bucs: Chris Mosley has accepted the assistant offensive line position.  As we reported over a week ago, Steve Logan has joined the staff.   Logan will coach the tight ends.

Virginia: Assistant head coach Bob Pruett has resigned.  Pruett went through a very trying year off the field.  He was to serve as special teams coordinator this spring after serving as defensive coordinator last season.

Washington: University of San Diego offensive coordinator Jimmie Dougherty has joined the staff at Washington as wide receivers coach.  We hear Arizona State tight ends coach Dan Cozzetto could be heading to UW as the offensive line coach.

Washington Redskins: Veteran coach Chip Garber is joining the staff as defensive quality control.  Garber recently coach in the CFL.
