Alabama: Friendship Collegiate Academy (DC) head coach Azaar Abdul-Rahim will join the Alabama staff as a defensive analyst. 

Army: Former Citadel offensive coordinator Bob Bodine, who last week had accepted a position at West Alabama, has joined the Army staff coaching the tight ends. Yes, Army is making a strong push for the largest staff this year. 

UCLA: Mike Tuiasasopo will be the Bruins' linebackers coach according to the LA Times; Tuiasasopo will also assist with special teams. He spent the last two seasons coaching the defensive line at Colorado. This hire completes UCLA's coaching staff. 

Western State (D-II - CO): Sources tell us Colorado State-Pueblo tight ends coach/offensive line assistant J.T. Haddan has accepted the offensive line job at Western State College.

Florida: Per sources, Southwest Minnesota State (D-II) offensive coordinator / offensive line coach Jeremy Darveau has accepted a position assisting with the offensive line at Florida. Darveau played under offensive line coach Mike Summers at Louisville. 

Vanderbilt: Defensive line coach Vavae Tata has been suspended indefinitely from the staff. Over the weekend, Tata was charged with DUI. 

Calgary Stampeders: Marc Mueller, who spent last season coaching the quarterbacks at the University of Regina, has joined the staff as a defensive assistant.

Texas A&M Commerce: Per source, former Houston quarterback Drew Hollingshead has accepted a grad assistant position at Texas A&M Commerce and will be working with the quarterbacks.

Western New Mexico (D-II): Sources tell us that Reilly Murphy is the new offensive coordinator at Western New Mexico. Murphy spent last season as the offensive coordinator at Bethel College (NAIA - KS). 

Fayetteville State (D-II - NC): Fayetteville State University is looking for a special teams coordinator/kickers coach or an offensive line coach. This is a full time position with teaching responsibilities. Candidates must have a Masters in Health/Physical Education. Nichols College: Per source, Tim Grupp is joining the staff as offensive assistant. Jacob Schoup will now coach the running backs and James Whitlow is joining the staff as a grad assistant. 

Ferrum (D-III - VA): Phil Elmassian has been named defensive coordinator. Elmassian, who spent the last two years as the DC at UMass, has coached at East Carolina, Minnesota, Virginia, Syracuse, Marshall, and Nebraska during his long coaching career.

Jacksonville State: Aashon Larkins has accepted the corners / specials teams coordinator job. Larkins previously coached the linebackers and coordinated the special teams at The Citadel.

Arkansas Monticello (D-II): Arkansas Tech (D-II) receivers / recruiting coordinator Kyle Shipp has accepted the offensive coordinator job at Monticello per sources. 

Georgetown: Defensive coordinator Rob Sgarlata has been named head coach. 

LSU: Kentucky safeties / special teams coordinator Bradley Dale Peveto is expected to accept the special teams job at LSU per source. CBS and ESPN have both reported the same as well. 

Eastern Michigan: Former special teams coordinator Ryan Oshnock has offically accepted the head coaching job at Forrest Hills Northern HS (MI).

Iowa State: Per source, Buffalo co-defensive coordinator / defensive backs Maurice Linguist will join the Iowa State staff as defensive backs coach. 

Southwest Minnesota State (D-II): Southwest Minnesota State University is looking for a graduate assistant coach to work with the defensive line. Qualifications include acceptance into graduate school (3.0 minimum GPA), enrolled in a minimum of six credits per semester, and meet the MnSCU vehicle driving qualifications. Compensation package includes $8,000 and Full-Tuition waiver. Review of candidates will begin immediately and continue until filled. Expected start date in July. Ohio State: Ohio State is seeking a recruiting assistant with college coaching experience. Details available here

Columbia: Sources tell us that SUNY Cortland (D-III - NY) defensive coordinator / defensive backs coach Ola Adams has accepted the receivers job at Columbia.

Reedley College (JC - CA): Per source, receivers coach Ernie Rodriguez has been promoted to offensive coordinator and secondary coach Bob Demichillie has been promoted to defensive coordinator.

Georgia Military College (JC): Former Hardaway High (GA) assistant David Mackie will be the new corners coach at Georgia Military, per source. 

Arkansas: Randy Shannon will make $400,000 as senior associate head coach. Last season Shannon made $315,000. Shannon's new agreement includes a $100,000 buyout if he leaves before December 31 of this year and then $50,000 if he leaves before July 2015. 

Phoenix College (CC - AZ): Phoenix College is looking for a QUALIFIED Offensive Coordinator that can also coach QB or RB's. Candidates with ties to Arizona recruiting are preferred. This position will stay open until filled by approved candidate. Bachelors required, Masters preferred. Desired Qualifications;. Bentley (D-II - MA): Sources tell us that Norwich University (D-III - VT) associate head coach / defensive backs coach Leo Fanning has joined the staff at Bentley.

Concordia - St. Paul (D-II - MN): Concordia University, St. Paul, located in St. Paul, MN, is seeking applicants for an offensive graduate assistant (WR Experience preferred). Compensation includes full tuition, semester stipend. Minorities are encouraged to apply. Must be committed to finishing graduate school. UAB: David Reeves (defensive line) and Chuck Dunn (inside linebackers) have been formally announced as new members of the staff. Both spent last season with Bill Clark at Jacksonville State.

Virginia State (D-II): Virginia State is looking to fill the date of Saturday, September 13th 2014. Preference would be to schedule a home-and-home series for 14-15 (They would prefer a home game in 2014 and will provide a guarantee, if that’s not an option will travel in 2014). Michigan: The Board of Regents will vote later this week on endowing the head coaching position in response to a $10 million donation. If approved, Brady Hoke's title will add the name  "J. Ira and Nicki Harris Family head coach" according to Mark Snyder of the Detroit Free Press. 

Penn State: We told you about this last week; but just closing the loop now that it is official...Towson tight ends coach Tyler Bowen is now at Penn State as a grad assistant working with the offensive line. 

Fort Hays State (D-II - KS): Per source, former Pitt State (D-II - KS) defensive grad assistant Ike Eguae will be the new defensive line coach at Fort Hays State. 

UConn: Running backs coach Ernest Jones has resigned. Bob Diaco stated that Jones' decision was "entirely family and personally related." Jones was scheduled to earn $192,000 this year. 

Purdue: Taver Johnson's new base salary as corners coach at Purdue is $225,000. His base salary at Arkansas last year was $250,000. 

Toledo: Toledo is looking for someone to help with recruiting / day to day operations and serve as a video grad assistant. More details on the DFO Scoop.

Montreal Alouettes (Canada): Offensive line coach Frank Verducci has been let go after one season, according to the Montreal Gazette.

Middle Tennessee: Per source, Murray State student assistant (and former quarterback) Casey Brockman is joining the Middle Tennessee staff as an offensive grad assistant. 

Saginaw Valley State (D-II - MI): Sources tell us that Jahmal Brown, who spent the last three seasons as a grad assistant at Bowling Green, has joined the SVSU staff.

Moorpark College (CC - CA): Moorpark is seeking a part time defensive backs coach. The position pay ranges around $12,000 per season. Must be willing to coach position and recruit during off season. Must be able to commute to campus and must have at least 3 years of coaching experience and a college degree. Email Defensive Coordinator, Mike Stuart your resume at [email protected]. Waldorf College (IA): Waldorf is no longer accepting resumes for the grad assistant position. 

Georgia: Mark Richt's son, Jon, is joining the staff as a volunteer quality control coach. Jon played at Mars Hill College (D-II - NC).

Wayne State (D-II - MI): Alex Bailey will join the staff as receivers coach per source. Bailey served as passing game coordinator at Valparaiso this past season. 

Wagner College (FCS - NY): Per source, Marcus Edwards, who spent the past two seasons at Bowling Green as a graduate assistant, will join the staff at Wagner. 

Southern Miss: Per source, former Cincinnati and Alcorn State staff member Eddie Hicks is returning to his alma mater as a defensive grad assistant.

Cincinnati: Kenyon Blue, who served as a grad assistant at Washington this past season, is joining the Cincinnati staff working with the corners. 

Sam Houston State: Per sources, Arizona State grad assistant on-campus recruiting coordinator Dan Lanning will join the Sam Houston State staff coaching the defensive backs. 

Cleveland Browns: Davidson offensive coordinator Mike LaFleur has accepted a position on the Browns staff the team announced Friday morning

West Alabama: Per source, former Citadel offensive coordinator Bob Bodine will join the staff as offensive coordinator / offensive line. 

Georgia Southern: Sources tell us that Victor Cabral will rejoin the staff.

LA Pierce College (CC - CA): Sources tell us that linebackers coach / special teams coordinator Bill Coan has been hired as the new head coach at Arleta HS (CA).

Bucknell (FCS - PA): Bucknell University will have an entry level position available. The position will coach WRs, and have a geographic recruiting responsibility. Army: Jaybo Shaw, who spent last season as an offensive grad assistant at Georgia Southern, is now working in an offensive quality control role at Army.

Georgia: Inside linebackers coach/defensive special teams coordinator Mike Ekeler will earn $250,000 in 2014 according to the Athens Banner-Herald. That ranks third among Georgia's defensive coaches, behind defensive coordinator Jeremy Pruitt ($850,000) and defensive line/will linebacker coach Tracy Rocker ($300,000) but ahead of sam linebacker/star nickel coach Kevin Sherrer ($200,000). 

Cincinnati: More than a month after we first reported it, Cincinnati has officially announced the promotion of Marc Nudelberg to tight ends coach and special teams coordinator. 

NFL: Roger Goodell was paid $35 million in fiscal 2013 and earned another $9 million in deferred compensation. That's $44 million folks. That's a nice year.

Pitt: Former Cleveland Browns running backs coach John Settle has been named running backs coach for Pitt, and head coach Paul Chryst has announced that he will coach the quarterbacks as Brooks Bollinger (who coached the QBs last year) has resigned to pursue "non-coaching opportunities". The receivers job remains unfilled at this time. 

Rice: David Bailiff has agreed to a new five year agreement with Rice the University has announced.

Feather River (CC - CA): Head coach JD Johnson has announced his resignation, effective at the end of April. Offensive coordinator Josh White and defensive coordinator Mike Haydon will stay on board until a new head coach is named.

Purdue: Taver Johnson's title will be defensive backs coach with the Boilermakers.

UAB: Jody Wright (assistant head coach / running backs) and Daric Riley (outside linebackers and special teams coordinator) have been announced as new additions to Bill Clark's staff. Both worked under Clark at Jacksonville State.

Ohio: Frank Solich has now officially announced the additions of Scott Isphording as co-offensive coordinator / quarterbacks coach, and Dave Johnson as offensive line coach.

Highland CC (KS): Highland community College in Highland, Kansas, a member of the Kansas Jayhawk Conference, has an immediate opening for a defensive line coach. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, computer and Hudl proficiency, and prior coaching or playing experience at the college level. This is a full-time position with benefits. UT-Martin (FCS): Sources tell us that Justin Rascati, former quarterback coach at Weber State, has joined the UT-Martin staff and will coach the running backs.

McKendree (D-II - IL): Former Wyoming assistant Matt Rahl has joined the staff as offensive line coach and special teams coordinator. 

Hamilton College (D-III - NY): Hamilton College is conducting a search for a new head coach. Andrew Cohen will not return as head coach. 

Highland CC (KS): Highland Community College in Highland, Kansas, a member of the Kansas Jayhawk Conference, has an immediate opening for a part-time wide receivers coach. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, computer and Hudle proficiency, and prior coaching or playing experience at the college level. Pitt: Paul Chryst has shuffled the duties of his defensive staff. New hire Troy Douglass will oversee the secondary with defensive grad assistant Hank Poteat, Matt House will move from safeties to inside linebackers, Chris Haering will now serve as the special teams coordinator and coach the outside linebackers, and John Palermo will coach the defensive ends.

Oklahoma State: Mike Gundy has announced the hiring of Bob Connelly as offensive line coach. Connelly has coached offensive line at Texas A&M Commerce, Cisco Junior College, Cal State Northridge, San Jose State, Washington State, Alabama, UCLA, UTEP and Arizona State. Just days ago Connelly had joined the Georgia Southern staff. He spent the 2013 season at Gilbert (AZ) High School. 

Army: FAU defensive coordinator Jovan DeWitt will join the Army staff, per sources.

FAU: Sources tell us that co-defensive coordinator / defensive line coach Roc Bellantoni will be promoted to defensive coordinator.

Green Bay Packers: David Raih has joined the Packers staff as an offensive coaching assistant, according to Tom Dienhart. Raih most recently coached the outside receivers at Texas Tech for the Holiday Bowl and served as the director of high school relations prior to that.

Dallas Cowboys: Middle Tennessee offensive grad assistant Turner West has accepted a defensive assistant position working with the linebackers, per sources.

Augustana (D-II - SD): Augustana College, located in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, is seeking applicants for an offensive graduate assistant and a defensive graduate assistant (secondary experience preferred). Compensation includes tuition, monthly stipend, and a meal plan. Housing is not a part of package.
