Miami: Jorge Baez is joining Al Golden's staff as assistant director of player personnel. Baez, currently the offensive coordinator / quarterbacks coach at Gulliver Prep in Miami, previously coached at Ole Miss & Southern University among other places. Josh Darrow reported this about an hour ago as well.
Elon: With defensive line coach Carlton Hall accepting a position at Yale, Elon has moved defensive assistant Pat Madden into that role.

Former Army and Oakland Raiders assistant Bob Mischak passed away earlier this week. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.
Miles College (D-II - AL): Former St. Louis Ram Dexter McCleon will be the defensive backs coach at Miles College.
Kutztown (D-II - PA): Former Holy Cross defensive end/linebacker Mike Tucker has been named the defensive ends coach at Kutztown.
Elon (FCS - NC): Per source, Bill McCord has been named a defensive assistant at Elon.

Our prayers are with Tulsa head coach Bill Blankenship and his family. Wednesday night coach Blankenship's father, Gerald, passed away.

Butler (FCS - IN): Former Ball State defensive grad assistant Gerald Chatman has been hired to coach the defensive line. The hire completes Butler's staff.
Ohio Mid-Western College (USCAA): Former Central State (D-II - OH) head coach EJ Junior has been named defensive coordinator.
Kings College (D-III - PA): We are told that Kings College is not accepting applicants for the running backs position at this time.
Allegheny (D-III - PA): Kings College (D-III - PA) running backs coach Skyler Fultz has accepted the same position at Allegheny College.

Oklahoma: Athletic director Joe Castiglione and the entire assistant coaching staff have received raises and contract extensions, per Sooner Scoop. Castiglione's contract was extended through June 30, 2020 and will receive a raise of $100,000 to bring his salary to $1.03 million. The assistants all received contract extensions through May 31, 2015, except for defensive coordinator Mike Stoops who is under contract through January 31, 2017, and Josh Heupel who is covered through May 31 of 2016. The raises, which range from $46,000 to $300,000, are as follows; OL coach Bill Bedenbaugh ($370,000), STC and TE coach Jay Boulware ($325,000), RBs coach Cale Gundy ($350,000), co-OC Josh Heupel ($605,000), LBs coach Tim Kish ($325,000), DL coach Jerry Montgomery ($380,000), co-OC Jay Norvell ($455,000), strength coach Jerry Schmidt ($300,000), DC Mike Stoops ($850,000), and CBs coach Bobby Jack Wright ($350,000).
Henderson State (D-II - AR): Per source, defensive coordinator Carey Baker has stepped down and accepted a position outside of coaching. We've heard nothing but great things about Baker over the years. We're sure he's making this move with a heavy heart; and we are certain he'll be missed.

Longtime college assistant Steve Little, who most recently coached the outside linebackers at Lake Forest (D-III - IL) and also served as strength coach, has passed away after a long illness. Seattle Seahawks: Jeff Braxton, defensive line coach / recruiting coordinator at Delaware State (FCS), will be participating in the Bill Walsh Minority Fellowship program with the Seahawks.

Samford (FCS - AL): Per source, Trent McKnight will shift over to coach the wide receivers following Ronnie Leston's departure.
Butler (FCS - IN): Butler has completed their coaching staff with the additions of tight ends coach Spencer Summerville (assistant at Park Tudor HS, IN) and receivers coach Desmond Tardy (assistant at Warren Central HS, IN). Additionally, head coach Jeff Voris has restructured the staff as follows; secondary coach Joe Cheshire has added the titles of assistant head coach and recruiting coordinator, linebackers coach Tim Cooper has added the title of defensive coordinator, offensive line coach Kyle Conner will serve as offensive coordinator and Lee Rose will coach the defensive tackles while Pat Doherty will oversee the running backs.

Oklahoma: In addition to its stadium/facility renovations, Oklahoma will give Bob Stoops a pay raise to $5.25 million in 2014. His new deal is seven years for a total of $39.9 million. Should he see the end of the deal, Stoops would earn $6.15 million in 2020. His assistants have also received contracts extensions and raises, which the Oklahoman details here.

McMurry (D-III - TX): Head coach Lance Hinson has announced the hiring of offensive coordinator Matt Kalb and offensive line coach/recruiting coordinator Adam Kirby. Additionally, strength coach Nate Pritchett will coach the running backs this season. The moves complete McMurry's staff for the 2014 season.
Eastern Kentucky: Lindsey Wilson (NAIA -KY) corners coach Dwight Sutton has accepted a position coaching the corners at Eastern Kentucky.
