Arizona Cardinals: Our sources tell us former Kansas City Chiefs running backs coach Curtis Modkins has joined the Cardinals' staff.

Dakota State: Josh Anderson is the new head football coach.

Illinois: Our sources tell us that Akron offensive graduate assistant Carmen Bricillo has accepted the offensive graduate assistant position at Illinois.  We hear Bricillo will work with the offensive line.

Kansas State: Former K-State player Jonathan Beasley will serve as recruiting operations assistant.  Beasley coach the wide receivers at Montana State the past 2 seasons.  Also, former K-State all-american cornerback Joe Gordon has joined the staff in an administrative role.

North Greenville: We hear Charleston Southern secondary coach Chad Staggs could be the next the join the staff at North Greenville.  We hear Staggs is close to landing the co-defensive coordinator job.

South Florida: We hear Colorado secondary coach Greg Brown has been offered the defensive coordinator job by Jim Leavitt. 

Southeastern Oklahoma: Former Linfield College assistant Thomas Ford has joined the staff as offensive GA.  He will coach the running backs.  Former Southeastern Oklahoma State defensive back Craig Andrus will serve as the defensive GA.  He will coach the linebackers. 

Western Kentucky: Former Wyoming offensive coordinator Bob Cole has been hired as the quarterbacks coach at WKU.

Kansas State: We hear a NFL team is trying to lure special teams coordinator Jeff Rodgers.

LSU: We hear former Nicholls State offensive line coach Josh Eargle will join the LSU staff as an office intern. 

North Greenville: Former Nicholls State defensive line coach Skylor Magee will join the North Greenville staff as co-defensive coordinator.

Southern Miss: ULM linebackers coach Deke Adams has accepted the defensive line job at USM.

Western Kentucky: We hear a Kent State assistant and former Wyoming assistant will both join the WKU staff.

St Ambrose University: located in Davenport, Iowa an NAIA institution in the Mid States Football Association is seeking multiple graduate assistants in football.  Primary responsibilities are to assist the head coach in all facets of the program. Position includes stipend and full tuition waiver.  Previous participation or coaching experience at the collegiate level is preferred.  Experience with Power Edit editing system/strength and conditioning a plus. Central Arkansas: We hear Central Oklahoma offensive coordinator Jay Wilkinson will interview at UCA for the quarterbacks job.

Maine: There is not a wide receivers job open.  South Florida hired Phil McGeoghan, who served on the Navy Prep last season. 

Rhode Island: As we first reported, Rhode Island is set to name Joe Trainer as the new head football coach. 

Sam Houston State: Our sources tell us that former Northwestern State head coach Scott Stoker has accepted the defensive coordinator job at Sam Houston State.  It also appears that former Baylor assistant under Guy Morris, Lee Hays, will join the staff as offensive line coach.

San Diego: Offensive line coach Todd Washington has been promoted to offensive coordinator. 

South Florida: Head coach Jim Leavitt could be interested in Iowa State assistant Chris Ash for the defensive coordinator job.

Yale: Former San Diego State offensive coordinator Brian Stark has joined the Yale staff in the same capacity.

Bethany College: Former West Virginia Wesleyan head coach Bill Struble has accepted the defensive coordinator job at Bethany College.

Hawaii: We hear former Baltimore Ravens linebacker Mike Smith has accepted a graduate assistant job with Hawaii.

McMurry: Head coach Donny Gray has stepped down.

Rice: Former SMU offensive line coach Ronnie Vinklarek has joined the Rice staff as offensive line coach.  Vinklarek coach in the CFL last season with Edmonton.

Franklin College: Former Indiana running back Josiah Sears has accepted the co-offensive coordinator job at Franklin College. 

James Madison: Our sources tell us Valdosta State defensive backs coach Maurice Linguist has accepted the secondary job at JMU.

Lincoln University: is no longer accepting applications.  Please do not call the football office. 

Morrisville State College: Former University of Dubuque defensive coordinator Jay Davis has accepted the same position at Morrisville State College.

Rhode Island: We hear Bowling Green assistant Joe Trainer could become the next head coach at Rhode Island.

South Florida: Mike Canales has been promoted to offensive coordinator.  Maine wide receivers coach Phil McGeoghan has accepted the wide receivers job at USF.  Illinois co-defensive coordinator Dan Disch has decided to remain with the Illinois staff after receiving an offer to become the defensive coordinator under Jim Leavitt. 

Vanderbilt: Defensive coordinator Bruce Fowler has been promoted to assistant head coach / defense.  Defensive backs coach Jamie Bryant has been promoted to defensive coordinator.  Defensive line coach Rick Logo and running backs coach Des Kitchings will serve as co-special teams coordinators.
