Buffalo: Offensive graduate assistant Joe Daily has been promoted to tight ends coach.  Offensive line coach Allen Modridge is leaving to join the UNC staff in some capacity.  Aaron Stramm will move from tight ends / special teams to offensive line.  Running backs coach Lee Chambers and cornerbacks coach Jarod Dodson will head up the special teams.

Charleston Southern: Our sources tell us Millsaps secondary coach Marcus Woodson has been hired to coach the secondary at Charleston Southern.

Notre Dame: Washington & Lee assistant coach David Hanna has been hired as the offensive intern at Notre Dame.

South Florida: Nebraska linebackers coach Mike Ekeler is not interested in a co-coordinator position at USF.

Tulsa: We hear Michigan quality control Bob McClain could be heading to Tulsa to join the Golden Hurricanes staff.

UNC: Fort Washington Friendly HS (D.C.) coach Marcus Berry has accepted the director of player personnel position at UNC under Butch Davis.

South Florida: We hear Mike Ekeler (Nebraska) and Chris Ash (Iowa State) were offered the co-coordinator jobs late Sunday night after Georgia linebackers coach John Jancek turned down the coordinator job. 

UT-San Antonio: We hear NW Missouri State head coach Mel Tjeerdsma is in the thick of things at UTSA.  Our sources tell us a new head coach could be named as early as late this week.

Liberty: Marshall Roberts has been promoted to special teams coordinator.  He will also coach the corners.  Brandon Streeter has been promoted to offensive coordinator.  Pete Sundheim will now coach the running backs.  Blaine McCorkle has been hired to coach the offensive line.  Ernie McCook has been hired as tight ends coach / run game coordinator.  Former Army assistant Wally Ake and Virginia defensive line coach Levern Belin have also joined the defensive staff. 

Jacksonville State: Our sources tell us head coach Jack Crowe has decided to move safeties coach Matt Wannebo to wide receivers.  Toby Norwood will now coach the entire secondary. 

Oakland Raiders: We hearWestfield HS (TX) assistant coach Chris Morgan is joining the Oakland Raiders staff as assistant offensive line coach.

South Florida: Reports are that Colorado secondary coach Greg Brown has turned down an offer to become defensive coordinator at USF.  Jim Leavitt apparently turned to Georgia linebackers coach John Jancek next and Jancek also decided to remain with the Bulldogs.


CK Crash: a minor league pro football organization near Huntington, West Virginia is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Assistant Defensive Back Coach. The successful applicant will be responsible for assisting with all phases of the football program as it relates to the mission of the CK Crash. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to coaching, recruiting, fund raising and providing a positive experience for our team. This position will have specific coaching responsibilities as assigned by the defensive coordinator.  This is a volunteer position and would be a nice internship. Arizona Cardinals: Our sources tell us former Kansas City Chiefs running backs coach Curtis Modkins has joined the Cardinals' staff.

Dakota State: Josh Anderson is the new head football coach.

Illinois: Our sources tell us that Akron offensive graduate assistant Carmen Bricillo has accepted the offensive graduate assistant position at Illinois.  We hear Bricillo will work with the offensive line.

Kansas State: Former K-State player Jonathan Beasley will serve as recruiting operations assistant.  Beasley coach the wide receivers at Montana State the past 2 seasons.  Also, former K-State all-american cornerback Joe Gordon has joined the staff in an administrative role.

North Greenville: We hear Charleston Southern secondary coach Chad Staggs could be the next the join the staff at North Greenville.  We hear Staggs is close to landing the co-defensive coordinator job.

South Florida: We hear Colorado secondary coach Greg Brown has been offered the defensive coordinator job by Jim Leavitt. 

Southeastern Oklahoma: Former Linfield College assistant Thomas Ford has joined the staff as offensive GA.  He will coach the running backs.  Former Southeastern Oklahoma State defensive back Craig Andrus will serve as the defensive GA.  He will coach the linebackers. 

Western Kentucky: Former Wyoming offensive coordinator Bob Cole has been hired as the quarterbacks coach at WKU.

Kansas State: We hear a NFL team is trying to lure special teams coordinator Jeff Rodgers.

LSU: We hear former Nicholls State offensive line coach Josh Eargle will join the LSU staff as an office intern. 

North Greenville: Former Nicholls State defensive line coach Skylor Magee will join the North Greenville staff as co-defensive coordinator.

Southern Miss: ULM linebackers coach Deke Adams has accepted the defensive line job at USM.

Western Kentucky: We hear a Kent State assistant and former Wyoming assistant will both join the WKU staff. 


St Ambrose University: located in Davenport, Iowa an NAIA institution in the Mid States Football Association is seeking multiple graduate assistants in football.  Primary responsibilities are to assist the head coach in all facets of the program. Position includes stipend and full tuition waiver.  Previous participation or coaching experience at the collegiate level is preferred.  Experience with Power Edit editing system/strength and conditioning a plus.
