Texas A&M-Kingsville: FootballScoop has confirmed that Kenneth Oliver has accepted the AD position at Texas A&M-Kingsville.  Oliver comes from Central Methodist University, where he oversaw campus life and served as dean of athletics.

Kent State: Athletic director Laing Kennedy announced yesterday that he will be retiring on June 30, 2010.

Monday morning: Coaches Quick Hits

Ball State: Former St. Joseph's defensive coordinator, Kurt Mattix, will serve as the tight ends coach this season.  Mattix takes the place of former assistant John Powers.  Mattix is a former Ball State grad assistant and is serving in a temporary role. 

Southern Miss: We hear Jonathan Johnson has joined the staff as assistant director of video operations.

Jackson State: Our sources tell us former Jackson State defensive back, Vince Dancy, has returned to the program as the defensive GA.  Dancy will work with the defensive backs.

Mesabi Range College (MN): Former high school assistant in South Carolina, Duane Corlett, has joined the staff as offensive coordinator.  Former Nebraska player Greg Austin is the new offensive line coach.  Former Duluth Central HS (MN) assistant Tom Inforzato is the new defensive line coach.  Former Wisconsin-Whitewater assistant John Woleske is the new linebackers coach.

Odessa Roughnecks: of the Indoor Football League (IFL) are looking for Intern Assistant Coaches of all positions. Intern Assistant Coaches will be given a monthly stipend during the season of $500 to $800. Housing and meals will also be provided. These are entry level positions and the responsibilities include assisting with coaching a football position, film responsibilities, player personnel responsibilities, football ops responsibilities as well as other duties. Bowling Green: TJ Dimuzio recently joined the staff to work as defensive quality control.  Dimuzio worked with the wide receivers at the University of Delaware last season.

Dartmouth: We are hearing that head coach Buddy Teevens has narrowed in on a replacement for the DFO position.
