Texas: Texas will begin searching for a new athletics director in the fall according to Kirk Bohls of the Austin American-Statesman.

Harding (D-II – AR): Harding University is seeking applicants for a defensive graduate assistant working with DB’s. Most importantly, we are interested in men who have a desire to serve God and who see coaching as an avenue to impact lives for Christ. GA’s will receive $3,500 of tuition credit per semester. Emporia State (NAIA – KS): Emporia State University, located in Emporia, KS is seeking applicants for a defensive graduate assistant working with the defensive line or defensive backfield. Compensation includes tuition and a monthly stipend. Housing is not a part of the package. Position includes but is not limited to: working with either the defensive line or defensive backs, video editing, equipment room, assisting with on-campus recruiting visits, having an out of region recruiting area, and other duties assigned by the head coach. Western Connecticut State (D-III): Western Connecticut State University is looking for an offense and defensive assistant football coach. Bachelor’s degree required. This position will be responsible for coaching a position, have a recruiting territory and other duties assigned by the head football coach. Playing experience at the collegiate level is preferred and coaching experience is a plus. No benefits provided. Tennessee Titans: Ryan Cowden, an assistant college scouting director with the Panthers, has accepted the director of player personnel job with the Titans front office, per the Charlotte Observer.

Carolina Panthers: Assistant college scouting director Ryan Cowden is leaving for a position with the Tennessee Titans front office and college scout John Peterson has decided to retire, according to the Charlotte Observer.

Logan City Wolverines (Australia): The Logan City Wolverines of the National Gridiron League are seeking applicants for a running backs coach as well as a wide receivers coach. Collegiate coaching experience required, along with extensive HUDL experience. Candidates MUST be passport ready. This is a new professional league that will begin play in September of 2016. The contract will run from July 30, 2016 – January 29, 2017, with a club option for an extension. Compensation package includes a salary (+/- $2500 US/month), housing, retirement contribution, insurance, and travel to/from Australia. Please send resume’s to to be considered.
