Benedict College: Coach Stanley Conner experienced a "light active heart attack" during halftime of Saturday's game.  Conner was in stable conditon yesterday at the hospital.  Please keep Coach Conner in your thoughts. 

Toledo: Tom Amstutz is expected to announce at a 10 am press conference his intention to step down at the end of the season.

Washington: We hear there is communication between former Baltimore Ravens head coach Brian Billick and officials with University of Washington about the Huskies' head coaching position.

Concordia University: Concordia University in Nebraska has announced that head coach Countney Meyer will retire at the end of the season.  Coach Meyer has been the head football coach since 1990.

Indiana: Indianapolis attorney and civic leader, Fred Glass, has been named the new athletic director at Indiana University.  Glass will begin his role on January 2, 2009.

Washington: USC offensive coordinator Steve Sarkisian stated, "I'd look at it and assess it.  It's obviously been one of the premier jobs not ony in the PAC-10 but in the country, so you'd have to look at it."  Sarkisian wants to become a college head coach.
