Houston Texans: Penn State head coach Bill O'Brien has agreed to interview with the Texans according to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network.
Arkansas State: Houston offensive line coach Glen Elarbee has joined Blake Anderson's staff as co-offensive coordinator, according to Joseph Duarte of the Houston Chronicle. Duarte adds that Elarbee will not coach Houston in their bowl game.
Paine College (D-II - GA): Safeties coach Jacob Mathis has added the title of recruiting coordinator.

Florida: The Gators have tabbed Duke offensive coordinator Kurt Roper to the same position according to multiple outlets. Here's what you need to know.
North Dakota: UND has named Southern Illinois defensive coordinator Bubba Schweigert their new head coach, according to the Grand Forks Herald. Schweigert spent 15 seasons as an assistant at UND before taking the head coaching job at Minnesota-Duluth in 2004. He has spent the past six seasons as the associate head coach / defensive coordinator at SIU.
Weber State: Head coach Jay Hill has announced the hiring of Jason Kaufusi from BYU to coach the defensive ends. Kaufusi, who served as a defensive grad assistant in 2012 at BYU, served as an academic advisor at BYU this past season.

Very sad to report that Akron assistant head coach Alan "Tank" Arrington died today from injuries sustained in a car accident. Please keep his wife and extended family in your prayers.
Texas Tech: Sources tell us that David Raih has been promoted to outside receivers coach for the bowl game. Raih, a quarterback at Iowa, worked with the quarterbacks this season. Raih previously worked with Rick Neuheisel and Norm Chow at UCLA, and as a grad assistant at Iowa for Kirk Ferentz worked with the offensive line and tight ends.
Colorado State: Defensive line coach Greg Lupfer has been suspended without pay for two weeks due to actions during their New Mexico Bowl game versus Washington State.
Jones County (JC - MS): Sources tell us head coach Ray Perkins has resigned. Perkins, 72, formerly served as head coach of Alabama, the New York Giants, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, etc...
SMU: The school has announced a three-year extension for Jones, through the 2017 season. "Coach Jones and his staff have successfully engineered our football program's journey from relative obscurity to competitive relevance," SMU AD Rick Hart said.
BC Lions (Canada): Khari Jones has been brought on staff to serve as offensive coordinator. Jones is a former Lions quarterback and served as the quarterbacks coach with the Saskatchewan Roughriders last season.

Kansas Wesleyan (NAIA): Head coach Dave Dallas has stepped down after 17 seasons at the helm. Dallas notched 94 victories during his time in Salina. A national search to find his replacement will begin immediately.
Nebraska-Kearney: Sources tell us that Mesa CC (AZ) special teams coordinator / receivers coach Matt Miller has accepted the receivers job at Nebraska-Kearney.
USC: Steve Sarkisian has confirmed that Clay Helton will be retained, and also noted today that he plans to make another run at bringing back Ed Orgeron.
Army: Sources tell us that Jeff Monken will be Army's next head coach. Monken has served as the head coach at Georgia Southern since November of 2009, compiling a 38-16 record. Army beat writer Sal Interdonato says that the details of the contract are being worked out but official word of the hire may not come until Thursday or Friday (holiday week). Penn State: According to Adam Schefter, a representative of Bill O'Brien recently reached out to Penn State in an effort to lower his buyout for leaving for an NFL team. Schefter notes that last summer O'Brien's contract was reworked from from a $19.33 million buyout down to $6.48 million for this year.
Oakland Raiders: Owner Mark Davis recently rejected an offer to extend the contracts of the assistant coaches who are in the last year of their deal, according to a report from Adam Schefter.
Boise State: Julius Brown, who coached the corners last year at Arkansas State, has joined Bryan Harsin's staff, according to Bruce Feldman.
