Towson University: Former Akron assistant under JD Brookhart, Reno Ferri, has accepted the running backs / recruiting coordinator job. We hear Jared Ambrose has been promoted to quarterbacks and James Vollono will shift from running backs to tight ends.

Otterbein University: Westerville (Columbus), Ohio, a member of the Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) is accepting applications for a defensive Graduate Assistant Football Coach. Compensation includes a stipend, limited meal plan and tuition waiver for the Master of Arts in teaching program or Masters of Business Administration. Virginia Destroyers: Our sources tell us that Terry Shea has accepted the offensive coordinator job.
SMU: As we reported a few weeks ago, former UCLA special teams coordinator Frank Gansz Jr. has accepted the same position at SMU.
Tampa Bay Bucs: Tampa Bay Bucs general manager Mark Dominik has agreed to a 4-year contract extension.
San Jose State: We hear former Cumberland quarterbacks coach Kevin Gray joined the San Jose State staff as offensive quality control.
FIU: Athletic director Pete Garcia has received a new 5-year deal and change in title. Garcia's new title with be executive director of sports & entertainment, allowing him to head up a couple of outside events in addition to running the FIU athletic department. Garcia's base salary without incentives will be $345,000.
Hartford Colonials: Harold Jackson has accepted the wide receivers job on Jerry Glanville's staff.
Cisco College: We hear former Angelo State defensive line coach Nathan Larned accepted the defensive coordinator job. Also, we hear East Central University grad assistant / wide receivers coach Dionte' Dean accepted the defensive backs job.

Southeast Missouri State: Defensive assistant / special teams coach Nick Stauffer will now coach the safties. Director of football operations Salim Powell will shift to defensive assistant. Former player Marvin Anderson accepted the director of football operations position.
Valley Forge Military Academy: Glenn Foley has resigned as head coach.
Albion College: Our sources tell us defensive backs coach Caleb Padilla has been promoted to defensive coordinator.
San Jose State: Our sources tell us that offensive grad assistant Bryan McGinnis has been promoted to director of football operations.
The Citadel: We are hearing that Lenoir Rhyne offensive coordinator Brent Thompson has been offered the offensive coordinator job at The Citadel.
Virginia Destroyers: We hear Bill Laveroni will accept the offensive line job under Marty Schottenheimer.

Dickinson College: We hear former player Mike Maxwell accepted the defensive intern job.
Dickinson College: Carlisle, PA, Centennial Conference, has extended and modified the search for an Assistant Football Coach/Strength and Conditioning Coordinator. Expertise in coaching linebackers or defensive line. Experience in strength and conditioning programs with a desire to become certified in strength and conditioning. This is a full-time 12 month exempt position. Candidates should possess the skills and experience necessary to serve as a defensive position coach, preferably linebackers or defensive line. The assistant coach will be expected to evaluate opponents, contribute to game plans, organize and conduct practices. The assistant coach will be required to recruit within the philosophy of NCAA Division III and a highly selective liberal arts institution. The successful candidate will eventually coordinate a variety of programs with respective coaches to assess the specific strength/conditioning needs of varsity sports. In addition to at least three of collegiate coaching experience, the successful candidate is expected to become a certified strength and conditioning professional as well as having current First Aid/CPR certification. Missouri: Gary Pinkel has agreed to a two-year extension through 2017. The salary pool for assistants is raising from $2.1 million to $2.26 million.

Bluefield College: We have learned that former Edmonton Eskimos assistant Stacey Hairston accepted the defensive coordinator position at Bluefield College.

Sewanne: The Citadel offensive coordinator / quarterbacks coach Tommy Laurendine accepted the head coaching job at Sewanne.
Auburn: Offensive quality control Eli Drinkwitz has been promoted to offensive grad assistant.

Virginia Destroyers (UFL): Our sources tell us former University of Buffalo offensive coordinator Gerald Carr accepted the running backs job.
William Patterson University: Ridgefield Memorial HS (NJ) head coach Charlie Trentacosti accepted the outside linebackers job and Teaneck HS (NJ) offensive coordinator Sean O'Connor accepted the quarterbacks job.
Southern University (LA): AD Greg LeFleur has been dismissed.
Delaware State: We have learned that Concord University defensive line coach Will King accepted the same job at Delaware State.
Hartford Colonials: We have learned that former Texas Tech defensive coordinator James Willis has been offered a position by Jerry Glanville and is expected to join the staff.
Concord University: Our sources tell us that Paul Price will be promoted to defensive coordinator, while John Pennington has accepted the wide receivers job. Our sources tell us that defensive line coach Will King has accepted the defensive line job at Delaware State, but Concord has filled the position. We are trying to confirm that hire.
UVA-Wise: Justin Hamilton has been promoted from strength coach to defensive coordinator.
University of Washington: 8 of 9 Washington assistant now have contract through June 30, 2013. Here are the salaries: defensive coordinator Nick Holt ($650,004), offensive line / run game coordinator Dan Cozzetto ($300,000), linebackers coach Mike Cox ($220,008), defensive line / special teams / recruiting coordinator Johnny Nansen ($165,000 in 2011, $175,000 in 2012), Demetrice Martin ($165,000), running backs coach Joel Thomas ($160,008), safeties coach Jeff Mills ($155,000), wide receivers coach Jimmie Dougherty ($135,000 in 2011 and $145,008 in 2012). Offensive coordinator / quarterbacks coach Doug Nussmeier will soon be the ninth coach, but his contract has not been signed off on yet. Nussmeier will make $300,000 annually.
Minnesota State – Moorhead: Ross Danielson has accepted the offensive grad assistant job and Freddie Banks accepted the defensive grad assistant job.
