Minnesota Vikings: Special teams coordinator Mike Priefer has been suspended three games following the team's investigation into allegations of anti-gay remarks. 

Mayville State (NAIA - ND): Per source, head coach Derek Schlieve has resigned to become assistant head coach / defensive coordinator on the Spring Hill (TX) High School staff.

New Mexico Military (JC): Bill Ross has joined the staff to coach the linebackers. Ross was an all-conference linebacker at New Mexico Military, and a two time all-conference linebacker at Arkansas-Pine Bluff.

Old Dominion: Linebackers coach Ulrick Edmonds has stepped down after seven months on the job to take an unspecified position at N.C. State, while former Connecticut staff member Darrell Perkins has been hired as cornerbacks coach. Kermit Buggs will move to safeties, and defensive coordinator Rich Nagy will coach the linebackers. 

Millersville (D-II - PA): Per source, Red Land HS (PA) assistant coach Scott Acri has accepted a position on the Millersville staff.

Millikin (D-III - IL): Millikin University is accepting nominations and applications for an assistant football coach (intern). Bethany College (NAIA - KS): Mike Lawrence has been announced as the wide receivers coach/special teams coordinator for the Swedes. He was previously the head coach at Wiregrass High School in Wesley Chapel, Fla.

Concordia (NAIA - AL): Former Alcorn State offensive grad assistant Michael Fantroy has been hired to coach the receivers.

East Stroudsburg (D-II - PA): Chadd Braine, who has previously served as the defensive coordinator at William Paterson (D-III - NJ) and Northern Michigan (D-II), has accepted the defensive coordinator job at his alma mater.

Former Troy State University head coach, and former Auburn assistant Tom Jones has passed away. Please keep his family in your prayers during this difficult time.

Ferrum (D-III - VA): Pete Shaw, who spent the past ten seasons at Ferrum College, has accepted the head coaching job at Colt's Neck HS (NJ). 

Central Oklahoma (D-II): The school has announced the hiring of Jason Smelser as linebackers coach and special teams coordinator. He spent three seasons on the Henderson State staff, the last two as linebackers coach/strength & conditioning coordinator. 

Texas: In their new book "My Conference Can Beat Your Conference," Paul Finebaum and Gene Wojchieckowski write that Texas boosters were willing to offer Nick Saban a $15 million signing bonus and a contract worth $100 million-plus, before incentives, according to an advanced copy obtained by AL.com. "Texas was dead serious about trying to money-whip Saban," the pair writes. The book corroborates reports by this website and others back in December on the seriousness of Texas' pursuit of Saban.

Illinois: Longtime Maryland offensive line coach Tom Brattan will be the Illini's offensive line coach, per source. Brattan began coaching offensive line at William & Mary in 1984 and has previously worked at Northwestern and Stanford in addition to Maryland.

Purdue: Purdue has hired Austin Schaffer as a recruiting grad assistant. Schaffer was a recruiting intern at Cincinnati last year.

Missouri Western (D-II): At Missouri Wester, we hear that defensive line coach Wes Bell has been promoted to defensive coordinator, offensive line graduate assistant Ryan Olson has been promoted to tight ends coach. Also, former Arkansas Tech graduate assistant Josh Jones has been hired to coach the weakside linebackers.

Florida Atlantic: Former Wisconsin defensive lineman Patrick Muldoon has joined Charlie Partridge's staff as a defensive graduate assistant.

Oklahoma: The Sooners have announced the hiring of Colorado State director of player personnel Drew Hill to the same position. 

Northwestern: Pat Fitzgerald netted just under $2.5 million in compensation in 2012 according to tax documents obtained by USA Today.

Stanford: Head coach David Shaw earned $1.175 million in base pay, $290,000 in bonuses and more than $470,000 in deferred compensation in 2012 according to tax documents obtained by USA Today. Shaw has since signed a new, lengthy extension which is believed to have raised his compensation significantly. 

New York Giants: Brandon Berning, who spent the last seasons at Wisconsin as a recruiting and football ops intern, has accepted a pro scouting internship with the Giants.

Webber International (NAIA - FL): Webber International is accepting applications for an intern position. Paine College (D-II - GA): Per source, former North Carolina Central assistant offensive line coach Jamar Harp has accepted the defensive line job at Paine College.

Stetson (FCS - FL): Head coach Roger Hughes has announced the addition of Charles Huff to coach the defensive line. Huff comes to Stetson from Northern Arizona, where he coached the defensive backs the past three seasons.

St. Scholastica (D-III - MN): The College of St. Scholastica invites applications for the position of offensive line coach. This is a full-time, 11-month per year position. Abilene Christian: Ken Collums has hired former Tarleton State offensive coordinator Scott Carey as offensive line coach. Cody Moore (who spent last season as the assistant recruiting coordinator at Arkansas and was the defensive line coach at Central Arkansas prior to that) is now coaching the defensive line and former ACU quarterback John David Baker is joining the staff as a grad assistant. 

Mount Union: Chris Kappas has been promoted to defensive coordinator. Head coach Vince Kehres served as the defensive coordinator last season, his first with both titles/responsibilities. 

Arizona Western (JC - AZ): Arizona Western has announced the hiring of linebacker coach Steffon Martin. Martin played linebacker at Arizona Western, as well as Arizona State.

NCAA: The NCAA paid president Mark Emmert $1.7 million in 2012, according to tax documents obtained by USA Today. Chief operating officer Jim Irsch earned $1.01 million, and VP/chief legal officer Donald Remy made $620,000.

Santa Barbara City College (CC - CA): Santa Barbara City College is accepting applications for an intern running backs position. SEC Network: Longtime college football writer Tony Barnhart, ESPN play-by-play voices Tom Hart and Dave Neal, and current Longhorn Network reporter Kaylee Hartung have each joined SEC Network. Additionally, analysts Matt Stinchcomb and Andre Ware have signed multi-year agreements with the network.

Marshall: The Thundering Herd have announced a two-year contract extension for head coach Doc Holliday, keeping him under contract through 2018. While his $600,000 base salary has not changed, Holliday is now eligible for $30,000 bonuses both for winning a Conference USA championship and reaching a bowl game. The school notes his buyout structure of $600,000 for leaving for another head coaching job and a $3 million buyout for taking the West Virginia job remain intact. Holliday is 27-24 in four seasons at Marshall.

Savannah State (FCS - GA): We have learned that defensive coordinator / secondary coach Corey Barlow has been let go. We understand the position is expected to be filled from within.

Concordia (NAIA - Ann Arbor, MI): Concordia University in Ann Arbor is looking for a safeties coach. This is a part-time position and includes a small stipend ($2,000 for the fall with the potential for another small stipend for spring practice) but does not provide room or board. This position is responsible for coaching the safeties, holding position meetings, assisting with day-to-day operations / defensive practice preparation and any other areas assigned by the head coach or defensive coordinator. Fox Sports: Erin Andrews has replaced Pam Oliver as the sideline reporter for FOX's top NFL crew, according to Richard Deitsch of SI.com. Oliver will work with FOX's No. 2 crew consisting of Kevin Burkhardt and John Lynch for the 2014 season, and will then move to a different role within the network following the season.
