Penn State: Sources tell us Western Michigan running backs Charles Huff will join James Franklin's staff at Penn State. Huff served on Franklin's staff as assitant special teams coach in 2011 and was assistant running backs coach for the Buffalo Bills in 2012.

New York Jets: Rex Ryan and the Jets have agreed to a multi-year extension per Adam Schefter.
Memphis: Despite meaningful interest from other programs, sources tell us defensive coordinator Barry Odom is staying at Memphis.
South Carolina: In addition to Steve Spurrier's one year extension and raise, all of the assistants received extensions and raises as well. Deke Adams, Kirk Botkin, Grady Brown, Shawn Elliott, G.A. Mangus, Joe Robinson, Everette Sands and Steve Spurrier, Jr., had their contracts extended through the 2015 season (each received a raise of $20,000 except for Mangus who got a $25,000 bump). Defensive coordinator Lorenzo Ward had his contract extended through 2016 and is now paid $750,000.
Detroit Lions: Teryl Austin will be the Lions' defensive coordinator according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

Massachusetts: Offensive line coach Dave Johnson and DFO Jordan Jarry will not return, but defensive line coach Dave Sollazzo, inside linebackers coach/special teams coordinator Ted Daisher and strength and conditioning coach Mike Golden will be retained by new head coach Mark Whipple according to 247Sports.

Georgia: Georgia beat writer reports inside linebackers coach Kirk Olivadotti is headed back to the Washington Redskins, where he spent 11 years before joining Mark Richt's staff. Sources tell us defensive line coach Chris Wilson is leaving for USC, meaning the Bulldogs will have an entirely new defensive staff in 2014.
Temple: Elijah Robinson has been hired from Penn State as defensive line coach.
Oregon: Erik Chinander has been named outside linebackers coach. He spent three years in the Oregon program before serving as assistant defensive line coach for the Philadelphia Eagles in 2013.
Texas: The Longhorns have finally announced Charlie Strong's coaching staff, led by offensive coordinator/offensive line coach Joe Wickline, defensive coordinator Vance Bedford, assistant head coach for offense/quarterbacks coach Shawn Watson and assistant head coach for defense/defensive line coach Chris Rumph. The rest of the staff includes running backs coach Tommie Robinson, wide receivers coach Les Koenning, tight ends coach Bruce Chambers, linebackers coach/recruiting coordinator Brian Jean-Mary and defensive backs coach/special teams coordinator Chris Vaughn.

Southern Illinois (FCS): Head coach Dale Lennon will take over defensive coordinator duties in 2014, and offensive line coach Bill O'Boyle will take over offensive coordinator duties, replacing Kalen DeBoer, who left for Eastern Michigan. The Salukies have hired Nick Hill as quarterbacks coach, Todd Auer as linebackers coach and David Elson as defensive backs coach. The staff still has one opening, likely for a special teams coordinator.
Washington: Chris Petersen's will earn more than $3.25 million in 2014, up from $2.8 million in 2013. Defensive coordinator Pete Kwiatkowski will earn $485,000, followed by offensive coordinator Jonathan Smith, offensive line coach Chris Stausser and linebackers coach Bob Gregory ($425,000), defensive backs coach Jimmy Lake ($375,000), wide receivers coach Brent Pease and defensive line coach/special teams coordinator Jeff Choate ($345,000) and running backs coach/recruiting coordinator Keith Bhonapha ($250,000). Each coach is scheduled to receive a $15,000 raise in year two of their two-year deals.

Washington Redskins: The Redskins have parted ways with offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan, associate head coach/running backs coach Bobby Turner, quarterbacks coach Matt LaFleur, wide receivers coach Mike McDaniel, offensive quality control coach Richmond Flowers, linebackers coach Bob Slowik, defensive assistant Bobby Slowik, special teams coach Keith Burns, special teams assistant Richard Hightower and advance scout Larry Coyer. Defensive coordinator Jim Haslett, defensive backs coach Raheem Morris, defensive line coach Jacob Burney, offensive line coach Chris Foerster and tight ends coach Sean McVay will be retained. McVay has will be promoted to offensive coordinator, according to the Washington Post.
Alabama: Bo Davis will be the next defensive line coach at Alabama according to 247Sports. Davis was introduced at USC a week ago, and worked at Alabama from 2007-10.
Notre Dame: The school has made Brian VanGorder's hiring as defensive coordinator official.
West Georgia: Sources tell us Arkansas Tech defensive coordinator Scott Symons will be the new defensive coordinator at UWG.
Jackson State: New head coach Harold Jackson will make $260,000 per year per his new three year agreement.
University of Chicago: Sources tell us the defensive backs job is open.
Chuck Smith: Sources tell us former Kentucky linebackers coach Chuck Smith will be the new head coach at Madison Central HS (KY).

Strong's buyout, which Texas is paying, was $4.37 million. Bonuses include $250,000 for a national title win, 3 percent of his salary for a top 5 finish, 2 percent of his salary for a top 10 finish, $100,000 for winning the Big 12 and $100,000 for reaching the national title game.

Georgia Southern: Former UAB defensive line coach Kevin People is taking a position on Willie Fritz's staff at Georgia Southern, according to AL.com.
Duke: Associate head coach / pass game coordinator Scottie Montgomery will be elevated to offensive coordinator, according to Jeremy Fowler.
Cleveland Browns: Former Titans head coach Mike Munchak is interviewing for the head coaching job today in Cleveland, according to Alex Marvez.
