Central Michigan: Head coach Butch Jones has signed a contract extension through 2013.

Delaware: We hear former Buffalo head coach Jim Hofher has accepted the offensive coordinator position at Delware.

Toronto Argonauts: Our sources tell us that former Frankfurt Galaxy (2004-2007) head coach Mike Jones has been hired as the new wide receivers coach.

Greensboro: Jimmy Teaque has been hired as offensive coordinator.  Teague previously served as the head coach at Reidsville HS in North Carolina. 

Miami (OH): As FootballScoop first reported, Miami (OH) has officially announced the hiring of McNeese State defensive backs coach Lance Guidry.  Guidry will coach the secondary at Miami (OH).  Former University of Findlay offensive coordinator Bill Mottola has joined the staff as offensive line coach.

North Alabama: Former Florida State offensive coordinator Jeff Bowden is joining the staff at North Alabama under his brother, Terry Bowden.  Jeff Bowden will coach the wide receivers.

Notre Dame: There is a report that former Cleveland Browns coach Romeo Crennel could join the Notre Dame staff as defensive line coach.

Towson University: Our sources tell us former Sacred Heart defensive coordinator Brian Fleury has joined the Towson staff on the defensive side of the ball.

Buffalo: Danny Barrett has been promoted to offensive coordinator.  Barrett served as the quarterbacks coach last season.  Former Liberty University assistant Robert Wimberly has joined the staff as linebackers coach.  Former South Dakota defensive coordinator Jarod Dodson joins the staff as cornerbacks coach.  Brian Mohnson will now coach the entire defensive line at Buffalo.

Edmonton Eskimos: The Eskimos have hired Jason Tucker to coach the wide receivers.  Tucker recently finished playing for the Eskimos. 

Johnson C. Smith: We hear former Virginia Union head coach Greg Richardson could become the new defensive coordinator at Johnson C. Smith.

Philadelphia Eagles: Former Cleveland Browns assistant Ted Daisher has accepted the special teams coordinator job with the Eagles.

Rice: Our sources tell us former SMU wide receivers coach Larry Edmondson will accept the wide receivers job at Rice.

San Francisco 49ers: Greg Manusky will remain as defensive coordinator. 

St. Louis Rams: We hear Minnesota Vikings assistant defensive line coach Brendan Daly will join the Rams' coach as defensive line coach.

Weber State: Don Eck has been named assistant head coach / offensive coordinator.  Jake Cookus and Colton Swan will be co-defensive coordinators.

Central State: Athletic director Kellen Winslow has surprisingly dismissed head coach Al West.

St. Louis Rams: Former Mississippi State head coach Sylvester Croom has been hired as running backs coach.

Western Michigan: Head coach Bill Cubit has hired his son, Ryan Cubit, to coach the quarterbacks.
