UNC Pembroke (D-II): Boise State offensive grad assistant (was part of Coach Pete's staff) Louie Rodriguez has accepted the offensive line job and Adams State receivers coach Billy Lindquist has accepted the receivers job at UNCP. With these two hires, all full-time positions on the staff have been filled. 

South Carolina State (FCS): Former Louisville defensive backs coach Tommy Restivo will be the defensive coordinator at South Carolina State according to the Orangeburg (S.C.) Times and Democrat. We have confirmed the same.

Duquesne (FCS - PA): Shaler High School (Pittsburgh, PA) head coach Chris Siegle is joining the Duquesne staff per a source. Will update. // Siegle will coach the linebackers per source. 

Central Connecticut State (FCS): Per source, University of Buffalo defensive grad assistant Holman Copeland has accepted the defensive backs job at CCSU. 

Valley City State (NAIA - ND): Wide receivers coach John O'Day and quarterbacks coach Jake Breske have been promoted to co-offensive coordinators.

Elmhurst College (D-III - IL): Minnesota State (D-II) defensive line coach Ron Planz is the new head coach at Elmhurst. 

Southeastern Louisiana (FCS): Per source, we expect linebackers coach Karl Scott to be promoted to defensive coordinator. 

Southern Miss: Southeastern Louisiana defensive coordinator Pete Golding has accepted the safeties job at Southern Miss. Patrick McGee of the Sun Herald broke the news and we have confirmed. 

William & Mary (FCS - VA): Defensive line coach Trevor Andrews has been promoted to defensive coordinator and secondary coach Tom Clark will add the special teams coordinator role as well the program has announced. Additionally, sources tell us that Dartmouth defensive line coach Kevin Lewis will join the staff as defensive line coach, Georgetown running backs coach DJ Mangas will join the staff in the same capacity and we also hear that VMI receivers coach Winston October will join as receivers coach. 

JIREH PREP ACADEMY (Post Grad - NC): Head Coach Scott McConnell has completed his staff for the 2014 Season. Returning coaches are Ryan Williams (Co-DC/RC/LB), Jarvis McGarrah (Co-OC/RB) & Keith Thompson (DL). New coaches are Al Clark (former Va Tech QB & KCU OC) as (Co-OC/WR), Jeff Stephens (20 year college Asst.) as (Special Teams/QB), Coleman Tyrance (former asst. coach at Hargrave) as (OL) and Corey Alexander (former U of Tenn player) as (Team Analyst).

American River (JC - CA): Former Sheldon HS (CA) head coach Josh Crabtree has joined the staff and will coach the offensive line, per source.

Fort Lewis (D-II - CO): Former Baylor defensive back, and Wyoming grad assistant Dwain Crawford is joining John L. Smith's staff and will coach the secondary, per source.

Cincinnati Bengals: Marvin Lewis has received a contract extension taking him through the 2014 season. His contract was set to expire after this season prior to the extension.

Carson-Newman (D-II - TN): Carson Newman is looking to fill the first playing date in 2014, Sept 6th, it must be a home game. Willing to pay a guarantee. Contact 865-471-3360 if interested.

St. Joseph (D-II - IN): Sources tell us that Jay Smith is the new defensive line coach at St. Joseph's College.

Wyoming: Per source, South Dakota State offensive quality control coach Dominic Mirocke is joining the Wyoming staff in the same capacity.

College of the Sequoias (JC - CA): Former College of the Sequoias defensive line coach Jeff King has accepted a position at Cesar Chavez HS (CA).

Saskatchewan Roughriders (CFL): After leading the franchise to its fourth Grey Cup, head coach Corey Chamblin has signed a contract extension through 2017. 

Tiffin (D-II - OH): Per source, Gary Goff has hired Adrian White as defensive backs coach. White most recently was an assistant defensive backs coach for the Buffalo Bills. 

Northern Michigan (D-II): John Parrella has been hired to coach the defensive line. Parella is a 12 year NFL veteran and previously coached the defensive line at Chabot College (CC - CA).

Rice: Offensive quality control coach Stephen Hill has accepted the head coaching job at St. Pius X HS (TX).

Feather River (CC - CA): Feather River is looking to hire an interim head coach (for a semester or two) with teaching responsibilities in PE. Responsibilities: To coordinate, recruit, plan, organize and coach a community college intercollegiate football program (includes weekends and evenings as required). Master's in physical education, education with an emphasis in physical education, kinesiology, physiology of exercise, or adaptive physical education OR Bachelor's in any of the above AND Master's in any life science, dance, physiology, health education, recreation administration, or physical therapy, or the equivalent.  Pay will range from $5,306 to $7,717. Brevard (D-II - NC): We are told that there are currently no openings at Brevard and the staff is structured as follows; Taylor Cornett will move from WR/TE to OL, Chris Schultz from Kentucky Christian will coach TEs, Brock Pursley will remain the associate head coach/recruiting coordinator/running backs coach and will also coach WRs. Also, Joe Battaglia will be the DC/ILBs coach, Randy Thompson will coach DBs, Jerel Drew will move from offense to assist with the secondary, Thor Pate will coach OLBs and Justin Jefferson will be the DL/strength coach.

Wisconsin-Stevens Point (D-III): Valley City State (NAIA - ND) offensive coordinator Marty Costello has accepted the offensive line job at UW-Stevens Point.

Pac-12: The Pac-12 has hired Jamie Zaninovich as their deputy commissioner and COO. Zaninovich previously served as the conference commissioner of the West Coast Conference.

Missouri Southern (D-II): Missouri Southern has announced the additions of Charlie Hopkins (offensive line), and Frank Wilson (corners). Hopkins spent last season at Brevard College (D-II - NC) as the offensive line coach, and Wilson spent the past two years as an assistant at East Stroudsburg (D-II - PA). Also, defensive assistant Rashad Watson has been promoted to defensive coordinator.

Siena Heights (NAIA - MI): Former offensive coordinator / offensive line coach Jeff Hancock has been hired as the new head coach at Vidalia HS (LA). 

St. Lawrence (D-III - NY): St. Lawrence University (Div III, Liberty League New York ) is looking to fill 2 open dates for the 2015 Football season. The open dates are: Week 1 (9/5/15) and week 3 (9/19/15). Contact Head Coach Mark Raymond at (315) 229-5785 or [email protected].

Gettysburg College (D-III - PA): Gettysburg College is seeking an intern for football (defensive position). Responsibilities include practice planning and coaching (defensive position), strength and conditioning, and recruiting. This appointment begins May 1, 2014 and will continue through May, 2016. Bachelor’s degree required. Compensation is paid on an hourly basis, and the individual is eligible to participate in the College’s fringe benefit program, including: medical, dental and vision insurance. Bluffton (D-III - OH): Co-offensive coordinator / quarterbacks coach Terry Peebles has been hired as the new head coach at Harrison HS (IN).

American River (CC - CA): Jon Osterhout has hired Lou Baiz as defensive coordinator. The two previously coached together for nine years at Sacramento State.

Tampa Bay Bucs: Per the Sports Analytics blog, the Bucs have added Tyler Oberly as the franchise's new director of analytics. Oberly previously wrote for Sideline View, where he contributed analytically-angled articles.

Illinois Wesleyan (D-III - IL): Illinois Wesleyan University is seeking a Graduate Assistant to work with the football program on defense coaching the defensive backs. Candidates must be interested in a degree in Kinesiology and Recreation, must have a 3.0 GPA as an undergrad. University of Chicago (D-III - IL): Bo Flowers, who previously served as a grad assistant at Eastern Michigan, has been hired to coach the defensive backs and coordinate special teams. Also, Justin Weaver, who coached the linebackers last season and served as the special teams coordinator for the Maroons, has been promoted to defensive coordinator.

Cal: Sonny Dykes has formally announced Fred Tate as defensive line coach, while Garret Chachere will transition to linebackers. Also, the school confirmed that former defensive coordinator Andy Buh has been reassigned within the athletics department.

Eastern Michigan: Per source, Capital University (D-III - OH) defensive coordinator John Perin has accepted a defensive grad assistant position at Eastern working with the corners. 

Denver Broncos: Offensive line consultant Alex Gibbs will not return to the staff.

Eastern Michigan: Per source, former Baldwin Wallace (D-III - OH) offensive line coach Tony Neymeiyer has accepted an offensive grad assistant job at EMU working with the offensive line.

Miles College: Sources tell us that receivers coach Gary Bank has accepted the offensive coordinator job at Florence HS (AL).
