Central CT State University: New Britain CT, Strength Grad Intern, Description: Assist Head Strength Coach with supervision of 21 D 1 (FCS) teams. Applicant will be responsible for design, implementation and
supervision of 2-4 teams as assigned by the Head Coach.  Applicant must possess good organizational and communication skills.  They must be able to demonstrate and teach all Olympic lifts. Qualifications: Must possess a bachelors degree in Exercise Science or fitness related area.  Prefer applicant to be CSCS or working towards certification.  Personal qualifications desired are a highly motivated individual that is professional and dependable. Compensation.  Monthly stipend for 1st semester.  Tuition waiver and

University of Iowa: Strength and Conditioning Internship. Job Description: Assist the Olympic strength and conditioning staff in all day-to-day operations of the University of Iowa varsity weight rooms. Duties will include but are not limited to; assisting staff in the implementation of strength and conditioning programs for 23 varsity sports,  set up, and breakdown of training equipment and assisting in the maintenance and upkeep of the facility. Qualifications: Pursuing a Bachelors or Masters Degree in exercise science or a related field. Experience in a collegiate setting, and a strong desire to become a strength and conditioning coach at the collegiate level. Certification or working towards certifications with the NSCA-CSCS, CSCCA, and/or USAW. Compensation: This is an unpaid position.
