Baylor: We hear Valdosta State grad assistant Andrew Althoff has accepted an assistant position on the staff at Baylor University.

Harvard: Former Iowa assistant James Frazier has accepted the director of strength & conditioning job at Harvard. 

Valdosta State University: is seeking applicants for the position of Graduate Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach.  This individuals report directly to the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach. RESPONSIBILITIES:  Assisting with the supervision of eleven sports.  Ensure safe and effective lifting techniques.  Demonstrate basic knowledge in all areas of the strength and field.  Attend to the everyday needs of facility maintenance and operations.  EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:  Bachelors degree in exercise science or related field.  At least one year experience in an intercollegiate strength and conditioning program, U.S.A.W., C.S.C.S. or S.C.C.C. certification preferred.  COMPENSATION:  Ten-month position with tuition, books and a stipend. Females and minorities are strongly encouraged to apply.  Resumes should be sent to Michael Doscher.  VSU Strength and Conditioning, New Football Facility, 1500 N Patterson St, Valdosta, GA 31698. Marshall: Our sources tell us that Marshall has hired Chris Ronald as strength & conditioning graduate assistant for Olympic sports.

UCLA: Former University of South Florida assistant strength coach Ray Weisenberger has joined the staff at UCLA.  Weisenberger will work with football and three Olympic sports.

Green Bay Packers: Dave Redding has been hired as head strength coach.

Richmond: As FootballScoop reported earlier, former Tennessee assistant Chris Stewart has joined the Richomond staff as head strength coach.

South Carolina: We hear Louisville assistant strength coach Joe Connolly will be joining the staff at South Carolina under new head strength coach Craig Fitzgerald.

Tampa Bay Bucs: Kurtis Shultz has been promoted the head strength coach.  Chris Keenan will serve as an assistant strength coach.

Duke: Our sources tell us that the assistant director of strength & conditioning at Harvard has accepted a position at Duke.  We hear he will head up the Olympic programs at Duke.

The Villanova Strength & Conditioning staff is hosting the 2009 Villanova Strength & Conditioning Clinic on Saturday March 7th at the Pavilion on campus.
