Seattle University: Strength & Conditioning staff is looking for interns for the fall quarter of 2010.  Interns will be in charge of assisting the strength & conditioning staff with the implementation of all lifting and conditioning programs as well as set-up/breakdown of lifting and conditioning sessions for each of the 14 sports.  This is a non paid position but interns will have the opportunity to gain credit towards graduation, if applicable, as well as professional experience in the field of strength & conditioning.  Interested candidates should mail or email a resume including 3 references with a cover letter by August 31, 2010 to: Nate Hemphill, Graduate Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach, Seattle University, 901 12th Avenue, PO Box 222000, Seattle, WA 98122.

University Of Rhode Island: is accepting applications for Strength & Conditioning Internships.  Internships are available at the beginning of every semester; summer, fall, and spring.  This is an up-paid internship working with Division 1aa athletics program.  Candidates will get the opportunity to get hands on experience with In-Season and Off-Season training programs for a variety of sport programs. Responsibilities will include: Assisting with the implementation of URI Strength & Conditioning Program, Teaching proper lifting technique to student athletes, Daily maintenance of the weight room, and any other tasks assigned by Head Strength & Coach.  University Of Rhode Island is a State University  in Kingston Rhode Island with over 20,000 students that compete in the CAA and A-10.  Candidate must comply with all University polices and procedures during the internship. Preferred qualifications for the position include: Bachelors degree in exercise science or related field; Prior experience in Strength and Conditioning setting; experience in intercollegiate athletics;  CSCS, USAW, or SCCC certification is recommended.  All applicants must have a strong desire to further their career in Strength and Conditioning.  This is a volunteer position with the opportunity to earn college credit. University of Tennessee-Martin: is accepting applications for a strength and conditioning graduate assistant (Football Only). This is an opportunity to get hands on experience training the Division 1 football player (fcs). Responsibilities will include: Assisting with every aspect of the strength and conditioning program, maintenance of the weight room, and anything else the head strength coach might need.
