Mississippi State University: Mississippi State University Strength & Conditioning Department is seeking applications for the position of Graduate Assistant Strength to the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach. The daily responsibilities will include:  Assisting with supervision and execution of strength training programs. St. Joseph’s University: (Division-I; Atlantic 10 Conference) is currently accepting applications for 1 Graduate Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach and intern strength coaches.  The successful candidate for the graduate assistant position will be responsible for the following:  help supervise and maintain daily upkeep of fitness center and equipment; assist strength & conditioning coach with the design and implementation of sport-specific fitness programs; supervise both individual and team workouts; and any other duties assigned by the Head Strength & Conditioning Coach. Sacramento State: California State University, Sacramento, an NCAA Division I (FCS Football) institution is accepting applications for a paid Strength and Conditioning Intern for the 2010-2011 school year.  Duties: Assist Strength and Conditioning staff with the implementation of strength, speed, agility, flexibility and conditioning programs; facility maintenance and upkeep; other duties assigned by the strength and conditioning staff. After becoming familiar with techniques taught by the Sacramento State Strength and Conditioning Staff, the intern will assist in teaching proper technique in all aspects of the athletes’ strength and conditioning program. Applicants must have the following: a Bachelors or Masters Degree in Physical Education, Exercise Science or related field; a NSCA-CSCS or SCCC certification; be CPR/First Aid certified; have a strong work ethic; be coachable and dependable; have a strong desire to become a strength and conditioning professional; have prior weight room experience via previous coaching experience. Compensation: $1000 per month from September 2010 through August 2011; clothing; experience and knowledge from working at the Division 1 level; earned recommendation in your career path.
