Eastern Kentucky (FCS): Former West Alabama (D-II) head strength coach Chris McCormick has accepted an assistant strength and conditioning job at Eastern Kentucky.
South Dakota: The University of South Dakota’s Strength and Conditioning Program is looking for a highly motivated individual who is interested in a Graduate Assistantship beginning January 6th 2014. Qualifications: All applicants must have a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or related field. Applicants are required to have their CSCS, SCCC certification, or be currently pursuing one. Applicants must be CPR certified. North Dakota: The University of North Dakota is accepting applications for a Strength and Conditioning Internship. Potential interns will gain valuable hands on experience and knowledge of in-season and off-season strength and conditioning programs. Upon successful completion of this internship, one should posses and demonstrate the required abilities to advance in the field of Strength and Conditioning. Western Carolina (FCS): Western Carolina is currently seeking 2 qualified individuals for its Spring 2014 Athletic Performance internship positions. One individual will assist mostly with football and will sign a 3 month contract (Jan 13th - March 13th), the other individual will assist with Olympic Sports. These are unpaid positions, however applicants will be given necessary time to seek employment elsewhere to help with expenses. You will report directly to our Internship Coordinator and will be responsible for any duties assigned by the Director of Athletic Performance, and/or the Assistant Director of Athletic Performance. Other duties will include general equipment upkeep, assisting groups, weight room sanitation, computer work, game day responsibilities, and assisting in the supplementation program.
