Cincinnati: Joe Walker has been named director of football strength and conditioning and former Bearcat running back Orlando Smith has been announced as the assistant director of football conditioning.
VCU: VCU is seeking a graduate assistant stregth coach for basketball. VCU invites applicants for a graduate assistant position to begin in June of 2013. Successful applicants must be admitted into the VCU School of Sports Leadership. The position directly assist with the training of the men's basketball program and trains the men's and women's tennis teams. Tuition waiver is included. Arizona Rattlers (Arena): The Rattlers currently have an intern in their strength / football ops department.Requirements: Must have strong passion for Strength and Conditioning at the next level, Must carry certification or degree in personal training, cross fit and/or kinesiology, Must have working knowledge of stretching professional athletes, Must be able to meet physical demands of working with professional athletes both in the weight room and on the field, Must be available for 20 or more hours a week and all nine home games, Must be able to lift at least 45 pounds. Expectations: Sports career driven, Goal oriented, detail oriented and a self starter, Positive attitude and willingness to complete all tasks assigned.
