Oral Roberts University: is seeking a qualified individual preferably with collegiate experience for a graduate assistant position. Applicants must have a strong desire to pursue a career in strength and conditioning. Primary responsibilities include, assisting the Strength staff in all phases of the program including upkeep of facility. Secondary responsibilities will be working with assigned sports. Bachelor’s degree in a related field required. Certifications in one or more of the following is preferred, but not required: SCCC, CSCS, USAW. Knowledge in the area of sports nutrition a plus. Position is open until filled. Compensation will be $10,000 for a 12 month contract and tuition waiver. Position will officially start in December. Duquesne University: is currently seeking highly motivated, hard working candidates for strength and conditioning internship opportunity. The intern will assist in implementing strength and conditioning programs for 16 NCAA Division I athletic teams including pre-season and in-season activities. The position is unpaid with preference given to candidates obtaining course credit for the experience. Required qualifications include: senior or graduate level status in exercise physiology or related field, CPR/AED certified. Preferred qualifications include a BA/BS in an exercise physiology or related field as well as student athlete or coaching experience.
