Villanova Strength & Conditioning Clinic: We invite all High School and College coaches to the 2010 Villanova Strength & Conditioning Clinic, brought to you by Hammer Strength, on Friday Evening, April 30th and Saturday May 1st. This years clinic will have specific sections for Football Training, Basketball Training, All Sport Speed/Agility, and Sports Nutrition. Florida Atlantic: invites those interested in pursuing a career in Strength and Conditioning to apply for a Spring semester internship with the Strength and Conditioning Department. Potential interns will acquire valuable experience and knowledge while being a positive asset to FAU and its student-athletes. Upon successful completion of this internship, one should posses and demonstrate the required abilities to advance in the field of Strength and Conditioning. You will earn Class credit toward graduation requirements, valuable experience and knowledge and earned recommendation to pursue the next step in your career. This is an unpaid position. How to apply: A letter of interest, resume with mission statement, and a copy of a current CPR certification are required to be considered. East Carolina University: Strength and Conditioning Football Intern. East Carolina Strength & Conditioning has immediate openings for the Spring 2010 semester. The intern will begin on Monday, January 11, and will finish on May 14. This is an unpaid position. The Pirate Strength & Conditioning staff is looking for very motivated and vocal individuals for this position. The intern must have flexible availability and a drive for excellence in the field of strength and conditioning. The interns daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 1. Clean up and maintenance of the facility and all its equipment/implements. 2. Setup and break down of weight room for football workouts/conditioning. 3. Assisting full-time staff with proctoring of workouts (coaching proper technique, etc). Louisville: We are hearing Charlie Strong has offered a position to South Carolina strength coach Pat Moorer. Moorer was the head strength coach for football at South Carolina in the early 90's when Strong served on the Gamecock's staff. Our sources tell us Moorer started at Louisville on Monday.
