Iowa: Lindsay Dinkelman and Landon Evans have been named assistant strength & conditioning coaches at the University of Iowa and will work with the Olympic sports. Dinkelman was a former sports performance assistant at Purdue while Evans served as the director of sports nutrition / and an assistant strength coach at Illinois State.
Cumberland Unive rsity (TN): Ryan Cotton, a former intern at Georgia Tech, has been hired as a grad assitant at Cumberland.
Virginia Tech: Ryan Schuman, a grad assistant with Virginia Tech's football strength & conditioning program, has been named assistant coach for olympic sports strength & conditioning. Former players Mark Muncey and John Graves have been hired as grad assistants for the football strength program.
Fresno State: Fresno State Athletics is looking to fill its $12,000 paid strength and conditioning internship position. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: the provided supervision and instruction on safe equipment usage; conduct periodic fitness evaluations; assist in the implementation of strength and conditioning programs for football and other Olympic sports; assist with the day to day cleaning, maintenance and operation of the strength and conditioning complex; assist with recruiting, and other duties related to the operation of a strength and conditioning program for collegiate athletes.
