Tennessee State: Strength & Conditioning Department is accepting applications for the position of (3) Strength and Conditioning Interns for the Fall semester. Nevada: The University of Nevada Strength and Conditioning Department is accepting applications for Graduate Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach position. This position will assist in the day-to-day operations of the Wolf Pack Strength and Conditioning Department in all facets of training and upkeep of the facility. The successful candidate will also be assigned sport teams to be determined by the Director of Strength and Conditioning. A Bachelor’s degree in exercise science or related field is required. Applicants must be accepted into a Graduate Program at the University of Nevada. Experience in a collegiate athletic setting and a strong desire to become a strength and conditioning coach at the collegiate level is preferred. Certifications in one or all of the following: SCCC, C.S.C.S., USAW is preferred, but not required. General Duties / Description: Design, develop and deliver comprehensive and coordinated training programs for designated Intercollegiate Athletic teams. Applicant must possess a strong knowledge of teaching technique of Olympic-style lifting exercises. Assist with recruiting. Implement and enforce all rules, policies and procedures with regard to the weight room and equipment. Be flexible to work irregular hours.
