Central Oklahoma: Sources tell us that Jeff Andrews, who previously served as an assistant strength coach at Auburn and UT-Chattanooga, has joined the Central Oklahoma staff as an assistant strength coach.
McNeese State: Sources tell us that former Louisiana-Monroe grad assistant Eric Ortego is now the assistant director of strength and conditioning at McNeese State.

Rice: The Department of Intercollegiate Athletics at Rice University has a vacancy for an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach - Football. Minimum Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree (preferred - Exercise Sciences or related fields) with a minimum of 1 year full-time experience in the organization and implementation of strength and conditioning programs in Football and a wide range of men’s and women’s college athletics. Also certifications of S.C.C.C. or C.S.C.S. Candidates must also have extensive knowledge and coaching experience with detailed programing for Football Strength and Conditioning. Candidates must also have extensive knowledge and coaching experience with Olympic-style lifting exercises. Preferred Qualifications include a Master’s Degree, Level I Coaches Certification through U.S.W.F. Certification. Applicants may only apply on line at www.rice.edu. Rice: Former Auburn head strength coach Kevin Yoxall is the new head strength coach at Rice. Yoxall was the head strength coach under Gene Chizik at Auburn for years.
