Towson University: invites applications for an assistant strength coach position. The primary responsibility of the position will be working with football and possibly one or two additional sports. This individual will be responsible for leading every aspect of player development with regard to the football program under the supervision of the Director of Strength & Conditioning and the Head Football Coach. Duties: Leading all aspects of the strength and conditioning program for football team, including on-field game day responsibilities; participation in practice sessions, coaches meetings and recruiting events in addition to all off-season and in-season training responsibilities.  Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a related field is required; NSCA (CSCS) or CSCCa (CSCC) with USAW certification is preferred. Prior experience at the collegiate level working directly with football is required. Extensive coaching experience with free weights, Olympic lifts, and additional sports preferred. Salary: Competitive with full University benefits. The Ohio State University: Football Performance Intern - Summer 2009 Description:  The Ohio State University is accepting applications for the position of Football Performance Intern for the 2009 summer quarter. There is one position available and the position will start on May 15 and run through July 24, 2009.  This is a highly competitive and demanding internship.  The daily responsibilities will include: 1. Assisting with supervision and execution of strength training, speed, and conditioning programs for Ohio State Buckeye football.  2. Attending to the daily maintenance of the training facilities.  3. Seattle University: is seeking applications for the position of Graduate Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach. Responsibilities include, but not limited to: assist head strength and conditioning coach in all aspects of developing and implementing strength and conditioning programs for 16 intercollegiate athletic teams. Work with both men's and women's sports as assigned by head strength and conditioning coach. Provide proper techniques associated with strength and speed development, and attend to the daily maintenance of the training facility. All responsibilities must be in compliance with institutional and NCAA rules and regulations.  Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science or related field. At least one year experience coaching in a collegiate strength and conditioning program, Adult CPR certification and certified or working to be certified through the National Strength and Conditioning Association(NSCA) or Collegiate Strength & Conditioning Coaches Association (CSCC). Candidate must have a strong desire to become strength and conditioning coach. Position offer contingent upon admission into graduate program at Seattle University. Graduates are encouraged to purse a Master of Sports Administration and Leadership.
