Mississippi State University: Mississippi State University Strength & Conditioning Department is seeking applications for the position of Graduate Assistant Strength to the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach. The daily responsibilities will include:  Assisting with supervision and execution of strength training programs. Teaching student athletes proper techniques and equipment use.  Attending to the daily maintenance of the training facilities.  Some weekend work will be required.  Qualifications: Must have a strong work-ethic and have a desire to become a strength and conditioning professional. Must have a bachelors degree and a certification from one of the following. Western Carolina University: Strength and Conditioning Internship, $10,000 over 10 Months, Description: Western Carolina University invites qualified applicants the opportunity to apply for the position of strength and conditioning intern.  Responsibilities include but are not limited to: program design, implementation, and supervision for assigned teams,  teaching of proper techniques as they relate to speed, power, and strength development, assist the head and assistant strength and conditioning coordinator with team training, as well as daily weight room operations. Requirements: Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science or related field and pursuing a career in strength and conditioning.  Candidates must be able to teach proper lifting techniques, have good communication skills, and be able to use Microsoft Office.  It is preferred that the candidate be certified through an accredited association (NSCA, CSCCa, USA-Weightlifting) or obtain certification within 6 months of employment.
