University of Maine: We are hearing that Florida State grad assistant, Lance Stuckey, is leaving the 'Noles to join the staff at the University of Maine.  Stucky will serve as an assistant strength coach.

Dartmouth College: seeks an intern to assist the football strength and conditioning staff in implementing strength, speed, and conditioning programs for the football team.  Duties include teaching Olympic movements, speed and acceleration techniques, agility drills, flexibility techniques, and football specific strength and conditioning.  Other duties in the football office as assigned. Belhaven College: a Christ-centered college located in Jackson, MS, is seeking applications for the position of Graduate Assistant to the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach. Belhaven is a member of the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities (CCCU), the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference (GCAC) and offers thirteen (13) NAIA sports programs. Job responsibilities include tasks such as: designing and implementing programs for selected teams, assisting the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach in all areas, assist in game day operations, and regular maintenance of the weight room. Some weekend work will be required. Requirements include the ability to communicate well with coaches and athletes, certification through one of the following organizations, (CSCCa, NSCA, USAW, or USATF) some previous strength coaching experience as an intern or volunteer, computer literacy, and a bachelor's degree. The candidate must fully support the vision and mission of the College as well as subscribe to its Statement of Faith (http://www.belhaven.edu/belhaven/mission.htm). University of Pittsburgh: a NCAA Division I institution and member of the Big East Conference has a opening for Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach in Olympic Sports. The candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing programs for strength training, conditioning, speed improvement, and testing procedures for assigned teams, weight room upkeep, equipment maintenance and other duties assigned by the head strength coach.  Candidates will communicate and work with the athletic training staff to effectively design programs for injured athletes. Bachelor's degree in exercise science, physical education or related area required. Certification with CSCCa or NSCA required. Experience in working with both male and female athletes.
