Memphis: We are told that Memphis will promote assistant strength coach Ryan Cidzik to head strength coach.

UNC: We have learned that Memphis head strength coach Tom Myslinski has accepted the head strength job at North Carolina.

Carolina Panthers: We are hearing Eastern Michigan strength coach Adam Feit has joined the Carolina staff as an assistant strength coach.

Mercer: Mercer University, a Division I member of the Atlantic Sun Conference, is currently accepting applications for the position of two (2) Volunteer Assistant Strength Coaches. The positions are responsible for Assisting the Head Strength Coach in all departmental functions.  Qualifications required are experience with teaching and demonstrating the Olympic lifts, Power lifts and other exercises to collegiate teams; 3+ months experience in writing and implementing sports performance team work outs; an accredited fitness certification (preferably CSCS, USAW, or SCCC).  Applicants should have a strong desire to pursue a career as a full time, collegiate strength & conditioning coach. Positions are non-paid and would start work July 1, 2011. Florida Atlantic: Description: FLORIDA ATLANTIC UNIVERSITY, a NCAA Division 1 institution and member of the Sun Belt Conference invites those interested in pursuing a career in Strength and Conditioning to apply for a summer internship with the Strength and Conditioning Department. Potential interns will acquire valuable experience and knowledge while being a positive asset to FAU and its student-athletes.  Upon successful completion of this internship, one should posses and demonstrate the required abilities to advance in the field of Strength and Conditioning. Duties: Assist Strength and Conditioning staff with the implementation of strength training, conditioning and speed programs designed for 17 varsity teams, weight room upkeep, equipment maintenance and other duties assigned by the full time staff members. There will be an opportunity to have responsibility over 1 or more sports teams TBD by your comprehension, prior experience, knowledge and skill level. Qualifications: Potential interns must be self motivated and possess a strong interest in becoming a Strength and Conditioning Coach.  Candidates should have prior weight room experience via previous coaching experience and/or a background as a competitive athlete. In addition, candidates should be pursuing or just completed a Bachelors or Masters degree in exercise science or a related field a well as working towards a certification with the CSCCa or NSCA. Compensation: Class credit toward graduation requirements, valuable experience and knowledge and earned recommendation to pursue the next step in your career. Green Bay Packers: We hear Packers assistant strength coach Dave Redding has decided to retire and the Packers will hire Zac Woodfin as his replacement.  Woodfin works with Athletes Performance.

Dallas Cowboys: New England Patriots strength coach Mike Woicik accepted the strength job with the Cowboys.  We hear New England will promote assistant Harold Nash to head strength coach.

South Carolina: Our sources tell us South Carolina head strength coach Craig Fitzgerald turned down the NY Jets head strength position.

Purdue: Former San Francisco 49ers strength coach has accepted the director of sports performance at Purdue.

North Carolina: We hear Butch Davis has interest in former Michigan head strength coach Mike Barwis.
