Pitt: Sources tell us Ross Kolodziej will take over as the head strength coach at Pitt. Kolodziej recently served as the defensive grad assistant at Wisconsin this past season after playing in the NFL several years.

Eastern Michigan: Ron McKeefery will serve as the program's strength coach, according to sources. McKeefery, the former strength coach at South Florida and Tennessee, was on the strength staff of the Cincinnati Bengals. 

Nevada: The University of Nevada Strength and Conditioning Department is accepting applications for Graduate Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach position. This position will assist in the day-to-day operations of the Wolf Pack Strength and Conditioning Department in all facets of training and upkeep of the facility. The successful candidate will also be assigned sport teams to be determined by the Director of Strength and Conditioning. A Bachelor’s degree in exercise science or related field is required. Applicants must be accepted into a Graduate Program at the University of Nevada. Experience in a collegiate athletic setting and a strong desire to become a strength and conditioning coach at the collegiate level is preferred. Certifications in one or all of the following: SCCC, C.S.C.S., USAW is preferred, but not required. Compensation will be $16,800 per year, including tuition (up to 6 credits per semester) and health benefits. This position will start immediately and will be open until filled. Central Arkansas: Sources tell us that Robert Stiner is now the new Head Strength & Conditioning Coach at UCA. Stiner previously served as an assistant strength and conditioning coach at with the football program at Mississippi State this past season.

Moravian College (D-III - PA): Moravian College has an opening for a Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach. This individual will be responsible for select varsity sports as well as other duties specified by the Head Strength & Conditioning Coach. Must hold current CPR/First Aid and National Certification (NSCA, CSCCA, USAW). Preferred degree in related field or collegiate athletic experience. US Ski and Snowboard Association: The U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association is the parent organization of the US Ski Team, US Snowboarding, and US Freeskiing. The USSA High Performance Department is looking for highly motivated strength and conditioning interns for April through October, 2014. Duties will include: educational curriculum, S&C program design and implementation, weight training, conditioning, and recovery sessions, athlete testing (force plate, blood lactates, FMS, data entry), and presentations and reading assignments. This will not be a "stand in the corner" internship; you will be completely immersed in the High Performance Department. This internship experience is unpaid, but stipends are available. The program will offer one-of-a-kind education, experience, and professional development, with the possibility of professional recommendations. Application Requirements: Enrolled or completion of BS or MS in Exercise Science field; athletic, motivated, enthusiastic; must have strong interest in a career in strength and conditioning; CPR, First Aid, and AED certified. Houston: Sources tell us Indiana strength assistant Lyonel Anderson will join the strength staff at Houston under Brian Odom. Sounds like Indiana head strength coach Mark Hill will have an opening for an assistant. 

Illinois State: Illinois State University Sports Performance, an NCAA Division I institution, is seeking one full-time UNPAID intern for the spring 2014 semester. This individual will serve as the primary intern for Football. Full-time Interns must possess a strong work ethic, a desire to excel in the field of strength and conditioning and have a strong strength training background. Duties include, but are not limited to: assisting the Strength and Conditioning staff in developing and administering all phases of speed, strength and conditioning programs to 19 varsity sports. The individuals will serve as top assistants for select varsity sports as assigned by the Director of Sports Performance. Qualifications: Must be working towards a degree in the field of exercise science or similar. Individuals must possess or be working towards a CSCS, and additionally have the option of completing the internship practicum for the CSCCa Examination.
