Pepperdine: Pepperdine University is seeking qualified applicants for a paid part-time Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach for the Fall 2014 semester, starting August 1st. There is opportunity for this position to be extended into the Spring 2015 semester. This position is for a paid 25 hours a week, though the applicant must be available to work flexible hours to meet the needs of the strength and conditioning department. Required qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Physical Education, Kinesiology, or related program. NSCA-CSCS, CPR & AED Certified. Prior experience at the collegiate level or playing at the collegiate level preferred, but not required. Essential job functions for the position include, but are not limited to: Assisting the Director and assistant strength and conditioning coaches in developing and implementing strength, speed, agility, and conditioning programs for the University’s intercollegiate athletic teams; Designing and implementing programs for assigned teams; Assessing student-athletes' physical attributes to improve athletic performance; Maintaining weight room and equipment; Input of testing data and daily/weekly updating of speed, strength, and conditioning workouts; Provide discipline and motivation to student-athletes to excel and improve; Performing miscellaneous related duties when necessary. Menlo College (NAIA - CA): MENLO COLLEGE (NAIA-CA): Menlo College Department of Athletic Performance is accepting applications for the FALL 2014 Athletic Performance Internship Program. Small Stipend, Daily Lunch and Menlo Gear will be included. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting the strength and conditioning staff with the implementation of sport specific injury prevention, strength, speed, agility, flexibility, mobility, and conditioning program. This is a paid assistantship which includes a $9,500 stipend. Duties: Assist S & C staff with all aspects of training for all varsity sports (not just football). North Texas: The University of North Texas - Department of Strength and Conditioning is accepting applicants for a Strength and Conditioning Internship.
