Boise State: Arkansas State strength and conditioning coach Jeff Pitman will follow Bryan Harsin to Boise State according to Brian Murphy of the Idaho Statesman. 

Murray State: Lauren Kelly, a volunteer assistant with the strength staff, has accepted a grad assistant position at the University of Louisiana-Monroe.

Stony Brook (NY): Stony Brook University is accepting applications for Strength and Conditioning Interns for the Spring 2014 semester. Responsibilities include: assisting in the supervision and training of Stony Brooks 18 Division I intercollegiate athletic programs; assisting with daily maintenance, administrative duties and completion of educational assignments. Preferred qualifications include: pursuing Bachelors or Masters Degree in Exercise Science related field; current SCCC and/or CSCS certification; CPR certification and previous experience in a strength and conditioning program or have previous collegiate athletics experience. Minimum qualifications include: pursuing SCCC and/or CSCS certification, strong work ethic and the desire to further one’s career in the field of Strength & Conditioning. This is an unpaid position. Central Arkansas: We hear that director of strength and conditioning Henry Briscoe will not return.

South Dakota State: South Dakota State University, is accepting applications for a qualified, highly motivated Graduate Assistant in Strength and Conditioning. Qualifications: Candidates must have a bachelor's degree with an emphasis in sports sciences, CPR certification and certified or working to be certified through the Collegiate Strength & Conditioning Coaches Association (SCCC) or National Strength & Conditioning Association (CSCS). In order to be awarded the position the candidate must be admitted to graduate school at South Dakota State University. Compensation includes two thirds tuition waiver and a monthly stipend. Previous strength coaching experience preferred. Previous athletic experience preferred. Experience with the Olympic lifts preferred. The position will begin at the end of May 2014. Central Oklahoma: The University of Central Oklahoma is looking for highly motivated individuals for the graduate assistant position in Strength & Conditioning. You must have completed a bachelor’s degree in an Exercise Science related field at an accredited college/university, have current CPR/AED certification, be knowledgeable in the Olympic and power lifts, and have a strong desire to pursue a career in strength and conditioning. Preferred qualifications: previous internship in collegiate weight room, college athletic experience, and one of the following certifications; CSCS, SCCCa, or USAW. Graduate assistant will assist strength coaches with implementing workouts, designing conditioning programs, and will help to maintain a professional atmosphere. You will be eligible for health benefits and receive a bi-weekly stipend.
