UCLA: The University of California, Los Angeles is accepting applications for the position of Athletic Performance Intern.  Positions are available to start June 2010.  Duties include assisting the Head and Assistant Athletic Performance Coaches in all aspects of the UCLA Athletic Performance program including but not limited to warm ups, strength and speed training, conditioning, and athlete assessments.  Minimum requirements include Bachelors degree or pursuing a degree in an exercise science related field and a strong desire to pursue an Athletic Performance career. Missouri State University: Department of Strength & Conditioning is accepting applications for Strength and Conditioning Interns and/or Volunteer Assistants for Fall Semester 2010.  Responsibilities include: Assisting with the supervision and training of MSU's 16 Division1 intercollegiate athletic programs; Assisting with daily administrative and maintenance items; Completion of various educational assignments during the internship.  Qualifications include: Strong work ethic; Punctuality; Enthusiasm; Desire to further one's career in the field of Strength & Conditioning.  Preferred qualifications include: Pursuing Bachelors or Masters Degree in Physical Education, Exercise Science or related field; NSCA-CPT, CSCS, SCCC, or USAW certifications; CPR certification and coaching experience.   Individuals chosen for position are subject to university background checks and standard hiring procedures. University of Missouri: a Division I institution and member of the Big 12 Conference, seeks qualified candidates for a strength and conditioning graduate assistant in the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics. Responsibilities include assisting the Director and Assistant Director's of Strength & Conditioning with 20 varsity sports; this involves program design, organization, implementation, and supervision of training sessions along with athlete testing data entry and maintenance of the facility are also part of this position.  Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree, Adult CPR certification, background in sport-specific resistance training and conditioning, knowledge of Olympic lifts, and working toward N.S.C.A. certification will be required of any applicant for consideration. Experience working with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Powerpoint preferred. Compensation: Position includes tuition waiver and monthly stipend. Deadline: Applications must be received by April 16, 2010. Charleston Southern: is accepting applications for Strength & Conditioning Internships.  Internships are available at the beginning of every semester; summer, fall, and spring.  This is an up-paid internship working with Division 1 (FCS Football) athletics program.  Candidates will get the opportunity to get hands on experience with In-Season and Off-Season training programs for a variety of sport programs.  Also there is a program curriculum required to be completed during the internship.  Responsibilities will include: Assisting with the implementation of CSU Strength & Conditioning Program, Teaching proper lifting technique to student athletes, Daily maintenance of the weight room, and any other tasks assigned by Head Strength & Coach.  Charleston Southern University is a Christian University in Charleston South Carolina with about 3000 students that compete in the Big South Conference. Texas Tech University: Football Strength and Conditioning department is accepting applications for the position of Graduate Assistant for the 2010-2011 school years.   This is a highly competitive and demanding position.  The daily responsibilities will include: 1. Clean up and maintenance of the facility and all its equipment/implements.  2.  Setup and break down of weight room and field for football workouts/conditioning.  3.  Assisting full-time staff with implementation of workouts (coaching proper technique, etc) - Texas Tech University is an equal opportunity employer.
