Colorado State: TITLE:  Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coordinator.  MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  Bachelor's Degree in health/exercise science, physiology, anatomy, kinesiology or related field required; minimum of four years’ demonstrated practical strength and conditioning experience in a broad-based intercollegiate athletics program required, preferably at the NCAA Division I level; current CSCS certification required; experience with intercollegiate football required, preferably at the NCAA Division I level. RESPONSIBILITIES:  Assist the head strength and conditioning coordinator with supervision, maintenance and oversight of the weight room; assist with the design, implementation and oversight of strength training and conditioning programs for both men’s and women’s intercollegiate teams and individual student-athletes as assigned; primary responsibility is assisting with football but position will also be assigned additional sports. POSITION:  Full-time, 12-month administrative professional position reporting to the Head Strength/Conditioning Coordinator; full University benefits; salary commensurate with experience and qualifications; includes some evening, weekend and holiday work and travel. University of South Florida: Strength and Conditioning Intern.  USF is a proud member of the Big East conference and has immediate openings for Winter 2011 intern positions.  The intern positions begin January 10 and extend through May 6th.  All applications must be received by November 31.  This is an unpaid position. The candidate will receive Division I Intercollegiate experience, gear, internship manual, and earned recommendation toward further success as a Strength & Conditioning Coach.  The successful candidates will be required to schedule and maintain a minimum of 20 hours per week with the Strength and Conditioning Department. The daily responsibilities will include: 1. Assisting with supervision and execution of strength training programs; for assigned teams. 2. Memphis: Grad assistant. The University of Memphis is seeking an individual with the capacity to work with a variety of student-athletes as a strength and conditioning professional.  Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to: design and implement sport specific training programs for assigned team(s); supervise both individual and team training sessions; maintain team and individual records and training data; provide appropriate maintenance and upkeep of all equipment and the weight room; motivate small and large groups of student-athletes; ability to reinforce set rules of the weight room and per sport coach; passion for the strength and conditioning field.  Requirements: NSCA CSCS certification, current First Aid and CPR certification, previous experience in designing and implementing programs for athletes in a team setting, collegiate experience through an internship, acceptance into the Masters Degree program at the University.  Resumes may be submitted until November 29, as the position start date is January 2011.  The successful applicant will be rewarded tuition and a monthly stipend.  All interested applicants email a letter of interest, resume, and three references to Josh Medler at .

University at Albany: Strength and Conditioning Department is currently accepting applications for strength and conditioning interns for the spring 2011 semester.  Responsibilities include assisting the head strength and conditioning coach in all aspects of developing and implementing strength, speed/agility, conditioning, flexibility, for Football and Men’s Basketball intercollegiate athletic teams.  Additional responsibilities will be to provide daily weight room supervision, daily upkeep and maintenance of equipment, assist with and conduct periodic performance and strength testing, completion of internship curriculum, and other duties as assigned.
