American University: is now accepting applicants for the position of Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach.  Responsibilities and Duties include assistance to the Head Strength & Conditioning Coach in all aspects of the Strength & Conditioning program, as well as in the implementation of sport – specific strength, conditioning, and speed programs for all assigned sports. University at Albany: Strength and Conditioning Department is currently accepting applications for strength and conditioning interns for the spring 2011 semester.  Responsibilities include assisting the head strength and conditioning coach in all aspects of developing and implementing strength, speed/agility, conditioning, flexibility, for Football and Men’s Basketball intercollegiate athletic teams.  Additional responsibilities will be to provide daily weight room supervision, daily upkeep and maintenance of equipment, assist with and conduct periodic performance and strength testing, completion of internship curriculum, and other duties as assigned. UCLA: The University of California, Los Angeles is accepting applications for the position of Athletic Performance Intern.  Positions are available to start January 2011.  Duties include assisting the Head and Assistant Athletic Performance Coaches in all aspects of the UCLA Athletic Performance program including but not limited to warm ups, strength and speed training, conditioning, and athlete assessments. Minimum requirements include Bachelors degree or pursuing a degree in an exercise science related field and a strong desire to pursue an Athletic Performance career.
