Georgia: Marc Weiszer now reports that Joe Tereshinski will become the head strength coach and John Kasey will serve as an assistant.

Wyoming: We hear there is an assistant strength position open at Wyoming.

Georgia: We have learned the head strength coach Dave Van Halenger has been reassigned as administrative assistant to the head coach.

Sacramento State: Paid Strength and Conditioning Internship for Spring Semester 2011. Duties: Assist Strength and Conditioning staff with the implementation of strength, speed, agility, flexibility and conditioning programs for 15 sports; facility maintenance and upkeep; other duties assigned by the strength and conditioning staff. Applicants must be coachable, NSCA-CSCS and CPR/First Aid certified, commit to a minimum 30 hours a week, and have experience working with or have played college football. Valdosta State University: Speed, Strength and Conditioning department is currently seeking applications for three Graduate Assistants to begin Fall of 2011. Qualified applicants will report to Head Strength and Conditioning Coach. Daily responsibilities will include: Designing and Implementation of programs for designated sports, assist with football and various other sports as assigned by the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach, daily maintenance of training facility, curriculum and maintenance of the internship program, and various other tasks as assigned. Colorado State: TITLE:  Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coordinator.  MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  Bachelor's Degree in health/exercise science, physiology, anatomy, kinesiology or related field required; minimum of four years’ demonstrated practical strength and conditioning experience in a broad-based intercollegiate athletics program required, preferably at the NCAA Division I level; current CSCS certification required; experience with intercollegiate football required, preferably at the NCAA Division I level. RESPONSIBILITIES:  Assist the head strength and conditioning coordinator with supervision, maintenance and oversight of the weight room; assist with the design, implementation and oversight of strength training and conditioning programs for both men’s and women’s intercollegiate teams and individual student-athletes as assigned; primary responsibility is assisting with football but position will also be assigned additional sports. University of South Florida: Strength and Conditioning Intern.  USF is a proud member of the Big East conference and has immediate openings for Winter 2011 intern positions.  The intern positions begin January 10 and extend through May 6th.  All applications must be received by November 31.  This is an unpaid position.
