Northwestern: Northwestern University Sports Performance is looking for Olympic Sports Intern Fall 2013. This is an unpaid internship position working with male and female athletes across 18 teams. Candidates should be pursuing a career as a collegiate strength and conditioning coach or a similar field. Candidates should be dedicated, hardworking, and outgoing and will be expected to assist in daily facility duties, execution of team workouts, and complete assignments pertaining to the field. Positions are open to all applicants but past collegiate weight room experience and certifications are preferred. James Madison: Christian Carter, from East Tennessee State University, has accepted the senior assistant strength coach position. Carter was a grad assistant strength coach at Virginia Tech before doing his doctoral work at ETSU. Also, Jake Patton, former head strength coach at American University, is the associate director of strength and conditioning for football at JMU.
Shenandoah University: James Madison assistant strength coach Quintrel Lenore has accepted the head strength and conditioning position at Shenandoah University.

University of Great Falls (NAIA - MT): The University of Great Falls is seeking a highly motivated, dedicated professional for the position of Graduate Assistant in the strength and conditioning department. The dates of responsibility will be September 1-June 30 and is a part-time position. Compensation includes Tuition remission plus $5,000 dollar stipend. N.C. State A&T: North Carolina A&T State University is looking for qualified applicants for full/part time internship positions for Fall 2013, starting immediately through December 5. This is an unpaid internship primarily working with football. Responsibilities include providing a high level of energy on the floor, coaching proper technique and motivating the athletes through weight lifting and conditioning activities, maintenance and cleanliness of the weight room, as well as anything other area the director of strength and conditioning needs assistance with.
