Winthrop: Winthrop University is accepting applications for Strength and Conditioning Interns and/or Volunteer Assistants for the Summer and Fall Semester. Responsibilities include: assisting with the supervision and training of Winthrop's 16 Division I intercollegiate athletic programs; assisting with daily administrative and maintenance duties; completion of various educational assignments during the internship are required. Qualifications include: strong work ethic; punctuality; enthusiasm; desire to further one’s career in the field of Strength & Conditioning. Washington State: Washington State University is looking for paid Summer Interns. There are (4) Olympic (non-football) positions available. DURATION: June 9th through August 1st, 2014. DUTIES: Assist in strength and conditioning day to day operations at Washington State University. These interns will help in the day to day operations of the Cougar Mania Strength and Conditioning Complex in all facets of training and upkeep of the facility. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: In your senior year of your Bachelor’s Degree in exercise science or related field, experience in collegiate weight room and have a strong desire to become a strength and conditioning coach at the collegiate level. Current certification in one or all of the following certifications, CSCCA, C.S.C.S., USAW.
