Wagner: Elon assistant strength coach Brian Tracz has accepted the head strength and conditioning position at Wagner College.

Bradley: The Bradley University Department of Intercollegiate Athletics is seeking a highly motivated, dedicated professional for the position of Assistant Sport Performance Coach. This is a 12-month, part-time, entry level position. This position offers the opportunity to gain direct experience training Division I athletes, encompassing strength and conditioning program design and implementation for 200+ student-athletes in all 15 sports; involving education and instruction on proper lifting technique, running mechanics, speed development, agility training, flexibility and recovery methods. A Bachelor’s degree is required; Master’s degree preferred. One to three years of strength and conditioning experience in a collegiate environment is also preferred. Henderson State (AR): Henderson State University Strength and Conditioning is looking for one (1) volunteer unpaid strength and conditioning intern positions for the Fall 2014 semester. Internship will begin August 11th and continue through December 2014. This is an unpaid internship but great opportunity to gain experience working with high level athletes. Duties: Assist S & C coordinators with all aspects of training for football. Provide leadership and instruction in the athletic development of student athletes to include skill analysis, teach proper technique and adapt workouts to match each sports specific need. Provide encouragement, motivate, and give feedback to student athletes to ensure maximum development of athletic potential. Assist with outside activities as assigned by HC and S & C Coach. Job Requirements: Strong desire to pursue a career in collegiate strength and conditioning. Excellent work ethic. Ability to adapt to schedule changes. CPR/First Aid certified. Desired Skills: Knowledge and experience in all areas of strength training including Olympic style lifting as well as speed, agility, plyometric, flexibility and conditioning methods. Responsibilities include: assisting with the supervision and training of Midwestern State University’s 12 Division II intercollegiate athletic programs; assisting with daily administrative and maintenance duties; completion of various educational assignments during the internship are required. Preferred qualifications: Pursuing Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in exercise physiology or related field; NSCA-CSCS or USAW certifications; CPR certification.
