Robert Morris (FCS - PA): The Robert Morris University Strength and Conditioning Staff is seeking highly motivated, hardworking candidates for a strength and conditioning internship for the Summer 2014 Semester. Duties will include assisting the strength and conditioning staff with all aspects of the athletic performance program as well as daily maintenance of weight room and facilities. This is an unpaid position. If chosen for this internship opportunity, you will gain valuable experience, be educated on training philosophy, Olympic lifts, and how to structure and execute a successful strength and conditioning program. Qualifications include: Strong work ethic and desire to become a strength and conditioning professional. Elon: Joe Baranello has accepted the assistant strength and conditioning position. Baranello was a former grad assistant at Central Oklahoma and Fordham.

Mississippi State: Mississippi State University Strength & Conditioning Department is accepting applications for the position of Strength and Conditioning Volunteer Intern for Football for the Summer 2014 semester. The successful candidate will be required to schedule and maintain a minimum of 40 hours per week with the Strength & Conditioning Department. The program is designed for undergraduate students and the post bachelor professional looking for experience. Compensation: Division 1 experience with earned recommendation for future career opportunities. No monetary compensation will be provided. Ideal candidates will have a bachelor’s degree and a certification from one of the following: NSCA, CSCS; CSCCA, SCCC; USAW. Louisville: Joe Miday (head strength coach) and Scott Wilks (assistant strength coach) have been announced by Bobby Petrino as the two guys who will lead the strength program. Both follow Petrino from Western Kentucky.

UAB: Sources tell us Green Bay Packers strength and conditioning assistant Zac Woodfin will be Bill Clark's head strength coach at UAB. Woodfin played for Clark at Prattville High School and then earned two-time First Team All-Conference USA honors as a linebacker at UAB.

Montana: Strength and conditioning coach Rob Oviatt has left the University of Montana for personal reasons. Mike Gerber will be the new strength & conditioning coach for the football program at Montana. Mike recently served as strength & conditioning coach with the UNLV football program over the past four seasons.

Western Kentucky: Sources tell us former Georgia and Denver Broncos assistant strength coach Justin Lovett has accepted the head football strength job at Western Kentucky. 

Ole Miss: Sources tell us Northwestern State head strength coach Joey Guarascio has accepted a position on the Ole Miss staff.
