Chadron State (D-II - NE): Former Western State Colorado player EJ Kreis has accepted a graduate assistant position on the Chadron State strength staff. EJ is the son of longtime college strength coach Doc Kreis whose stops include MTSU, Vanderbilt, Colorado, and UCLA as the head strength and conditioning coach.

Memphis: Per source, Louisiana-Monroe assistant director of strength Brent Huth has joined the strength staff at Memphis.

Louisiana-Monroe: ULM is looking to hire an assistant director of strength and conditioning that will work under the direction of the Director of Strength and Conditioning. The successful candidate will assist in the coordination, development, and implementation a successful strength and conditioning program for the University of Louisiana at Monroe’s athletic department. They will also provide proper and safe instruction in equipment usage, speed development, and evaluation of student athletes. The assistant director will provide supervision and monitor activities of 3-4 graduate assistants and any student personnel that may be hired. Duties will include assisting with the day to day Football program as well as covering assigned Olympic sports by the Director. Southwest Baptist: We hear that Southwest Baptist has filled their vacant grad assistant position in the strength and conditioning department.

Wofford: Wofford College Athletics is seeking an Assistant Coach for the Strength and Conditioning Department. Basic responsibilities include the design and implementation of programs for assigned teams, teach and instruct proper weight training and running prescription, general upkeep and maintenance of the facility, and commitment to the college. Requirements for the position are as follows: Bachelor’s Degree, CSCS Certification, CPR/First Aid Certification, previous experience at the collegiate level in the weight room, desire to learn and possess a passion for training student-athletes.
