North Dakota State: Graduate Assistant, North Dakota State University seeks a qualified individual preferably with collegiate experience.  Applicants must have a strong desire to pursue a career in strength and conditioning.  Primary responsibilities include, assisting the Strength staff in all phases of the program.  Secondary responsibilities with be working with assigned sports.  Bachelor's degree in a related field required, CSCS preferred. Minimum GPA:  3.0.  Tuition waiver, $7,300 stipend.  Application deadline is March 12th.  Start date is May 17th, 2010. Duke: Our sources tell us Cedric Prowell has accepted the strength & conditioning intern position. 

South Dakota State University: is accepting applications for a qualified, highly motivated Graduate Assistant in Strength and Conditioning.  Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting in design and implementation of Strength & Conditioning programs for assigned sports. Provide proper instruction for safe and effective lifting techniques and equipment usage. Supervising weight room day-to-day activities and conduct periodic performance & strength testing.  Qualifications: Candidates must have a bachelor's degree with an emphasis in sports sciences, CPR certification and certified or working to be certified through the National Strength and Conditioning Association(NSCA) or Collegiate Strength & Conditioning Coaches Association (CSCC).  In order to be awarded the position the candidate must be admitted to graduate school at South Dakota State University.  Compensation includes 2/3 tuition waiver and a monthly stipend. Previous strength coaching experience preferred.  Previous athletic experience preferred.  Olympic Lifting experience preferred.  Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel and Access strongly recommended. Consideration will be given to individuals who possess strong interpersonal, leadership and communication skills with integrity. The position will begin at the end of May. Application deadline is March. 1st 2010 To apply:
