Morgan State University: Accepting applications for summer 2010 Intern.  Position will run from June 1, 2010 to August 1, 2010.  Responsibilities will include 1)assist with development and implementation of sport specific strength & conditioning programs 2)office and organizational duties 3)maintenance of equipment and training facilities 4)other duties as assigned by strength & conditioning staff.  Required qualifications: currently pursuing bachelors/masters in exercise science or a related field, certified in CPR/First Aid, strong desire to become a college strength & conditioning coach. Preferred qualifications: proficient in Microsoft word and excel, currently pursuing NSCA, USAW, or CSCCa certification(s) Compensation: This is a volunteer position.  No stipend or housing is offered. The University of North Texas: Strength and Conditioning Department is looking to fill Internship positions for the Summer 2010 and/or Fall 2010.  The responsibilities for this internship position include:  1.) Assist coaches in the training of all UNT athletes.  2.) Perform daily maintenance of weight room and equipment.  3.) North Dakota State University: Fargo, ND. Description:  North Dakota State University is currently accepting applications for summer internships.  Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting the strength and conditioning staff with the implementation of sport specific strength, speed, agility, flexibility and conditioning programs for all sports.  After becoming familiar with the techniques taught by the coaches, the intern will assist in teaching proper technique in all aspects of the athletes' strength and conditioning program.  Additional responsibilities will include weight room supervision, daily upkeep, and maintenance of equipment and other duties as assigned by the Strength & Conditioning Coach.
