Cal Poly: San Luis Obispo strength & conditioning department is now accepting applications for a paid (hourly) internship. The department sponsors 19 sports at the Division I and Division 1AA (Football) level. Under supervision of the Head Strength and Conditioning coach, the Strength and Conditioning Intern will assist in comprehensive sport performance training programs for student-athletes. Intern responsibilities include (not limited to): 1. design and implement strength and conditioning programs for assigned teams, 2. coach training sessions in acceleration, agility, maximum velocity, strength & power, 3. manage, maintain, and clean training facility, 4. Open & close facility as needed, 5. assist in various tasks assigned by head strength & conditioning coach. Opportunity for contract renewal.
