Florida A&M (FCS): Florida A&M University, an NCAA Division I member of Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference, invites applications for the Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coaching position. This is a full-time, twelve-month position. A bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science or related field required, masters preferred. 1-2 years of related experience in strength and conditioning at the collegiate level required. CSCCa-SCCC or NSCA-CSCS certification required. The individual hired will be responsible for assisting the director of strength and conditioning with Florida A&M University’s men’s and women’s varsity sport programs. Women and minorities especially are strongly encouraged to apply. Pepperdine: Jamie Faro has been promoted from assistant strength and conditioning coach to associate director of strength and conditioning. Also, Tubbs Pike has been hired as an assistant strength coach. Pike previously served in a part time capacity with the program.

Tennessee: Lee Taylor, a former Vol assistant strength coach, has joined the strength staff as an associate strength and conditioning coach working with the women's basketball and golf programs.

N.C. State A&T: North Carolina A&T State University is looking for qualified applicants for full/part time internship positions for Fall 2013, starting immediately through December 5. This is an unpaid internship primarily working with football. Responsibilities include providing a high level of energy on the floor, coaching proper technique and motivating the athletes through weight lifting and conditioning activities, maintenance and cleanliness of the weight room, as well as anything other area the director of strength and conditioning needs assistance with. The applicant will receive valuable experience at the division I level as well as knowledge that will serve them in the field. Along with coaching in the weight room and on the field, there will be structured lecture times for further education. Requirements: Must be able to commit to a schedule, have or willing to obtain a valid CPR/First Aid certification, and a desire to be a successful strength and conditioning coach. Preferred: A Strength Conditioning or Weightlifting certification (or working toward obtaining a certification) and collegiate athletic playing experience. UNC Charlotte: The University of North Carolina at Charlotte is currently seeking full-time VOLUNTEER INTERNS for the fall and spring semesters. This is an unpaid position. Candidates should be passionate, highly-motivated, and have a strong willingness to learn. Qualifications (currently possessing or in pursuit of): Bachelor’s degree in related field, CPR/AED, CSCS, and USAW preferred. Central Methodist: Central Methodist University Strength and Conditioning Department is accepting 1 Graduate Assistant Position. Central Methodist is an NAIA school and a part of the Heart of America Athletic Conference. Prospective Applicants must be passionate about Strength and Conditioning and have an incredible work ethic. Chosen Applicant will receive a $7500 a year stipend along with full tuition upon being accepted into the Graduate program. Full acceptance to graduate program of choice must be completed and paper work must be completed prior to first day. Daily responsibilities: full involvement with football strength and conditioning, full assistance with all 14 Sport teams, full program implementation of designated team(s), general maintenance of facility and motivating athletes from a positive coaching perspective. Colgate (FCS): Colgate University, an NCAA Division I member of the Patriot League Conference and the Eastern College Athletic Conference, invites applications for the Assistant Director of Strength and Conditioning position. This is a full-time, twelve-month position. A bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science required, masters preferred, as well as related experience in strength and conditioning at the collegiate level. SCC, CSCS, USAW certification preferred. The individual hired will be responsible for assisting the director of strength and conditioning with Colgate University’s men’s and women’s varsity sport programs, ensuring a safe and effective working environment in the varsity weight room, and working closely with the sports medicine program within university, conference and NCAA rules and regulations. Individuals will gain knowledge and experience in a Division II Collegiate Strength and Conditioning setting. Individuals will also have the opportunity to work with Football and all the Olympic Sports. Daily responsibilities will include but are not limited to: assisting with supervision and implementing of strength and conditioning programs for various sports, maintenance and cleaning of training facilities, and professional development through internship program. Qualifications: Passionate about the Strength and Conditioning field, great work ethic, experience with Olympic weightlifting technique. UMass: The University of Massachusetts Football Strength and Conditioning Department is looking for motivated individuals who are interested in an internship for the Fall Semester of 2013. A background in Exercise Science, Sport Science, Kinesiology or related field is preferred. Morehead State: Morehead State University is accepting applications for 1 Graduate Assistant position in Strength and Conditioning. Morehead State University is a member of the Ohio Valley Conference and the Pioneer Conference for Football. Maine (FCS): The University of Maine is seeking applications for 2 Assistant Speed, Strength & Conditioning Coaches. Both are full time, fiscal year positions.  Typically has the education associated with a Bachelor;s Degree required, Master's Degree preferred in Exercise Science or related field; excellent organizational, communication, and computer skills required; must possess a current CPR certification at time of hire or must attain one within 1 month of the date of hire; must be a current member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association.  Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach certification is preferred; must demonstrate knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations; ability to lift up to fifty pounds; working knowledge of the repair and maintenance of athletic strength and training equipment; successful supervisory experience; ability to demonstrate and communicate proper spotting and lifting techniques. University of Tampa (D-II): University of Tampa Athletic Performance is now accepting applications for Strength and Conditioning VOLUNTEER INTERNS. Daily responsibilities will include but are not limited to: assisting with supervision, programming, and execution of athletic performance training programs for all varsity Olympic Sports, daily maintenance and upkeep of equipment in the weight room, assisting in teaching proper technique to student athletes, and professional development.
