Maine: The University of Maine athletic department currently has a restricted earnings strength and conditioning assistant position available. The position would work directly with baseball and women's soccer, along with assisting in football and other sports as needed. All applicants must have a bachelor degree, hold a First-Aid CPR, and have prior experience in a collegiate or professional strength and conditioning setting. The applicants must hold one or more of the following certifications CSCS, CSCCA, NASM PES, or USAW certification, or be able to obtain one before the desired start date. Union College (NAIA - KY): Union College is accepting applications for two strength and conditioning graduate assistants. South Carolina: Angelo James has accepted a role on the South Carolina strength staff. James has previously served on strength staffs at Tennessee and Mississippi State.

South Florida: West Virginia speed / conditioning coach Irele Oderinde has accepted the same position at USF, per sources. Sources confirm to us that he has accepted a position at USF (we understand that he has actually accepted the head strength position).

Wagner: Elon assistant strength coach Brian Tracz has accepted the head strength and conditioning position at Wagner College.

Elon: Former Tennessee and Florida International assistant strength and conditioning coach Ryan Horton has accepted the head strength job at Elon.

Bixby (OK): Bixby High School, a 6A (largest classification in OK), iss looking for a full time strength and conditioning coach. The position would include working with athletes from all sports. Western Carolina: Former WCU assistant strength coach Dan O'Connell has accepted the head strength position at Woodruff HS (SC).

Bradley: The Bradley University Department of Intercollegiate Athletics is seeking a highly motivated, dedicated professional for the position of Assistant Sport Performance Coach. This is a 12-month, part-time, entry level position. This position offers the opportunity to gain direct experience training Division I athletes, encompassing strength and conditioning program design and implementation for 200+ student-athletes in all 15 sports; involving education and instruction on proper lifting technique, running mechanics, speed development, agility training, flexibility and recovery methods. A Bachelor’s degree is required; Master’s degree preferred. One to three years of strength and conditioning experience in a collegiate environment is also preferred. Certification by CSCS, USAW and/or CSCCa needs to be actively pursued if not already obtained. CPR certification is required within 30 days of hire. Stevenson (D-III - MD): Stevenson University, Owings Mills, MD seeks a Coordinator of Strength and Conditioning. We are seeking a dynamic individual to Coordinate the Strength and Conditioning of a vibrant, very competitive Division III athletics department. This individual will be responsible for growing the Strength and Conditioning/Athletic Performance Committee and starting an Internship Program to assist with the Strength and Conditioning area.
