Western Oregon: Western Oregon University is looking to hire a part-time sports performance coach that will work under the direction of the Director of Sports Performance. This position will be responsible for all facets of implementing strength and conditioning programs for sports TBD, as well as assist the Director with a variety of sports. The candidate will be required to provide a safe lifting environment, proper lifting and spotting technique, as well as speed development instruction. Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Exercise Science or related field, Master's Preferred. Experience in the Collegiate or Professional Strength and Conditioning setting necessary, with experience in programming preferred. UConn: The University of Connecticut Sports Performance Department is accepting applications for volunteer football interns for Spring 2015. This gratis position offers Division I experience and training in an educational environment and the opportunity of advancement in the field of strength and conditioning. Responsibilities will include: assist the Football Strength and Conditioning staff in the supervision and training of UConn’s Division I intercollegiate football program; assist with daily administrative, cleaning and maintenance duties; assist in the set-up and break-down of equipment for every workout; and participate in weekly projects and assignments for the duration of the internship. Minimum Qualifications: must have a strong work-ethic, enthusiasm and a desire to develop the characteristics necessary to become a successful strength and conditioning coach. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in exercise science or related field and pursuing CSCS or relevant certification from one of the following: NSCA, CSCS; CSCCA, SCCC; USAW and CPR –First Aid certification. Chadron State (D-II - NE): Former Western State Colorado player EJ Kreis has accepted a graduate assistant position on the Chadron State strength staff. EJ is the son of longtime college strength coach Doc Kreis whose stops include MTSU, Vanderbilt, Colorado, and UCLA as the head strength and conditioning coach.

Memphis: Per source, Louisiana-Monroe assistant director of strength Brent Huth has joined the strength staff at Memphis.

Louisiana-Monroe: ULM is looking to hire an assistant director of strength and conditioning that will work under the direction of the Director of Strength and Conditioning. The successful candidate will assist in the coordination, development, and implementation a successful strength and conditioning program for the University of Louisiana at Monroe’s athletic department. They will also provide proper and safe instruction in equipment usage, speed development, and evaluation of student athletes. The assistant director will provide supervision and monitor activities of 3-4 graduate assistants and any student personnel that may be hired.
