Thomas (GA): Thomas University Strength and Conditioning Department is seeking qualified applicants to fill (2) Graduate Assistant positions. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: design and implementation of sport specific strength and conditioning programs for assigned teams; demonstration and instruction of Olympic weightlifting techniques; supervise during team workouts, individual workouts, and open hours; assist with the maintenance and upkeep of the facility. Qualifications: (Required) - Bachelor’s degree and acceptance in to graduate school. Pepperdine (FCS - CA): Pepperdine University's Strength and Conditioning Department is seeking non-paid interns to assist with teams during the fall semester. Other responsibilities will include helping with session set up and breakdown as well as completion of educational assignments designed to increase knowledge in the field. Applicants must have a strong willingness to learn, excellent organizational skills, and be able to work well in a group setting. CSCS or USAW is preferred, but not required. Appalachian State: App State has announced the hiring of South Carolina assistant director of football strength and conditioning Mike Sirignano as director of strength and conditioning, where he will lead strength efforts for the Mountaineers.
Waldorf College (NAIA - IA): Waldorf College Strength & Conditioning is currently accepting applications for a Graduate Assistantship for fall of 2014. The candidate will receive an online graduate tuition waiver and a $1,000 monthly stipend for 9 months (August-April). This is a two year appointment and is not benefit eligible.
