John Carroll
University : a Division III
institution, and member of the Ohio Athletic Conference, is
accepting applications for a full time Assistant Football
Coach. This person will coach a position (to be
determined) Coordinate Special Teams, and assist Recruiting
Coordinator in the development of a Junior Recruiting Plan for
the football program. Duties include the planning, organizing,
and directing of a highly competitive football program which
includes practice, conditioning, and staff management. As
Special Teams Coordinator, this person will supervise a staff of
17 coaches, in the development, implementation, and execution of
all phases of special teams. This will include playbook
preparation, film analysis, game planning, play calling, and
motivation. As assistant recruiting coordinator this
person will assist in the development of junior recruiting
strategies that will adhere to John Carroll’s overall mission
while adhering to NCAA and OAC rules. Qualified candidates
will have at least 3 years of college coaching experience.
Bachelor’s degree required; master’s preferred. This
position is a one year renewable contract beginning August 1st,
2008. Salary and benefits are competitive and will be
