RG3 wins the Heisman
Robert Griffin III took home the Heisman tonight, becoming the first player in Baylor history to bring home the hardware.
Earlier in the week we named Philip Montgomery the 2011 Quarterbacks Coach of the Year for leading RG3 to one of the most efficient seasons by a quarterback in recent memory.
Congratulations to RG3, the Baylor team and Coaches Briles, Montgomery and the entire staff on this monumental accomplishment.
Charlie Weis speaks
Charlie Weis spoke to the media for the first time as Kansas' head football coach yesterday.
Weis said that the biggest draw for him was the University's committment to becoming "more than a basketball school". He added that he wasn't aware of Kansas' interest until Wednesday morning.

Dino Babers new head coach at EIU
For the first time in 25 years, EIU held a press conference yesterday announcing a new head football coach.
Dino Babers, special teams coordinator / wide receivers coach, was named head coach. Below, you'll see a five minute summary of Coach Babers' intro and thoughts on how he will run his program.

Larry Fedora introduced at UNC
The UNC Board of Trustees unanimously approved the Tar Heels choice in Larry Fedora to take the reigns of the UNC football program.
Fedora got off to a great start when he took the podium as he introduced his wife and kids and told everyone to take a look at his wife as proof that he can "recruit". Fedora won a lot of the audience over with his overall approach and undeniable passion throughout the presser.

Video: Tulane's proposed stadium
Yesterday, Tulane announced plans to build a new football stadium to be completed in the fall of 2014.
The stadium will seat 30,000 people and cost around $60 million, with $40 million already committed.
