Video: All Access look at the intensity of Vandy's spring game

Normally, spring games are a somewhat relaxed and fun opportunity for young players to grab some attention and for coaches to evaluate development. However, at Vanderbilt, where James Franklin and his staff are continuing to establish expectations and build the program to a point where they can compete for an SEC title, "relaxed" is not in their vocabulary during the spring game.

Thanks to this All Access clip, you get to see behind the scenes of a heated locker room where the coaching staff continues to mold and communicate their expectations to their players.

At half time, offensive line coach Herb Hand goes off and tells the entire team to hold his unit accountable and demand more from them, and James Franklin reemphasizes that jobs are up for grabs and reminds players that this is the perfect opportunity to make a statement.

'If you want to eat...eat! If you want to take some jobs, take some jobs. If you want to make a statement then get after their ass and beat them."
