Video: "Getting swole' in the weight room at Texas

The Longhorn network brought some cameras in for a look at the shiny new chrome weights in action in Austin as Bennie Wylie, Jeff Madden and the rest of the strength staff prepared players through off season workouts.

With those chrome plates stacked on each side, squatting 600+ pounds never looked better.

On a more serious note, strength coach Jeff Madden sums up the off season for a strength coach perfectly at the end.

"They're handling amounts of weight now that they never dreamed of being able to handle. When we get to the season and we turn them over to the coaches, we want to give them the best product that we possibly can to help them win games."
