Video: The recipe for a great practice environment

All spring we've seen clips out of Texas Tech that showcase their high energy, up tempo practice environment and we never get sick of seeing videos like the one below.

What's billed as an All-Access / mic'd up session with co-defensive coordinator and outside linebackers coach Mike Smith is really another excellent look at the practice environment that Kliff Kingsbury and his staff have created in Lubbock.

"I love Texas Tech...I love everything about it," Smith says at the end of the clip, explaining the recipe for a great practice environment. "I tell you what, every day I'm living in a dream. I get excited to get here, my best friends are on the staff, we're all competitive and we all love to work and now we're in the spring and we get a chance to get after each other, and I love it. I wouldn't change it for anything."

If you want to create a practice environment like they have in Lubbock, coach Smith just gave you a great list to give you a head start.
