West Georgia takes its offseason competitions very seriously

Much in the same vain of Butch Jones' VOLympics offseason program at Tennessee, West Georgia split its roster into eight teams, each squad selected by a senior, to determine the alpha wolves - Team Wolfen.

Each player was a judged on a points scale that docked points for attitude and rules violations and added points for displays of leadership and teamwork. As strength and conditioning coach Monte Curtis tell us, the most athletically gifted team topped the standings for most of the competition but docked points due things like being late to study hall eventually did them in.

Here is the points system:

3. Unexcused miss -3
4. Sitting Down -1
5. Thumb violation -1
6. Walking anywhere -1
