Jack Hoffman is a seven-year old Nebraska fan, in his third year of battling brain cancer, that has been adopted by the Huskers program of late. Perhaps the best summary of his now three-year relationship with the program can be found here

Hoffman, wearing his favorite player Rex Burkhead's No. 22, took the field with the team at Memorial Stadium during the Red and White game. With the help of Bo Pelini's squad, Hoffman got to forget about his highly unfair cancer struggle as the entire team escorted him down the field for a 75-yard touchdown.
