Here's a great look at the job description of a 'director of player personnel'

For those who see the title "director of player personnel" and often wonder what's included in that job description, Gerry DiNardo sat down with Ohio State's Mark Pantoni to help paint a clearer picture of the position, and pick his brain a bit.

The interview, which aired Monday night on the Big Ten Network, provided an excellent look at the responsibilities of Pantoni's position, as well as just how involved he is in the nuts and bolts of the recruiting process.

Interestingly enough in the clip, Pantoni refers to Urban Meyer as "the closer" when it comes to recruiting, even comparing him to Yankee great Mariano Rivera. The comparisons make sense...you couldn't ask to have a better guy in your corner when it comes to closing games or recruits.
